Scripture - John 15:18 - 19 "If the world hates you, keep in mind it hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world." As believers we are not free from all the things that happen to people. What we can be sure of is the fact that we are free from the judgement of Jesus when He comes again to judge the world. The only reason we are free from that judgement is because of owr faith in God and that He is mercyfull to us, He has swon grace in forgiving our sins because Jesus died for our forgiveness. As believers we are not free from procecution. Our faith in our Lord Jesus will be attacked by the world. Jesus was percecuted, and therefore we are not free from it, Jesus said that we can expect to be procecuted. Jesus, whom we follow, was rejected by the world, and we can expect the same. Some fear for their lives as we speak. Some are in hiding or prison this very moment because of their faith in Jesus as the Son of God. People are being killed even this day, even by sibblings, because they would not deny Jesus. Praise God that Jesus was victorious in defeating the enimy and death, and through Him alone can we be victorious. Our bodies my be broken, even killed, but our soul and spirit belong to the Lord, and with Him we sahl reighn victorious for ever. Praise God for His Word and promises is the truth. Blessings
