Does anyone watch "Flashpoint"

They have had some very good episodes. It is a cop show about a unit called the Strategic Response Unit that responds to particularly hazards or hostage situations. They often encounter ones where the person(s) committing the "crime" are really driven to it by special circumstances or coercion and they usually find that out and try to resovle things with no deaths. Last nights episode was a particularly heart wrenching one and was very well written likd most of the shows episodes are. Watch it if get a chance, it is on CBS on Fri. nights.

Flashpoint is one of our new favorites and, I agree, last night's episode almost made me cry! It's a very good show, well written with a lot of action to keep you glued to your television screen. I love the characters in the unit...they've developed very well.

Oh yes, because they weren't really bad guys...not Bonnie and Clyde. He was just trying to do something good in a terrible situation. When the team leader told the husband that whether she had two days or two weeks, they wouldn't be separated...that's when I almost lost it.

I really love this show! I think it is well written and well acted. I love that those two characters, Jules and the blond boy, think they can keep their relationship a secret.
I thought the school shooting episode was really good too. The girl had the boy talked down and then that Dad policeman came in and shot him and then his son called and told him that the boy just wanted him to say sorry.
Also the one with the kidnapped adopted baby. It was too bad that they couldn't keep the father from jumping off the rollercoaster.
They are an amazing team. I keep forgetting to check the credits, but I think the computer geek guy is a DeLuise.
Please tell me that another favorite show isn't going to be cancelled.

It was an awesome episode of a very good show. The other episode that got to me was the one where the girl was kidnapped and he used her as a shield telling her the cops were the bad guys. That had a good ending as well. It is one of the few shows that always leaves you feeling good. That hardly ever happens with law enforcement shows.
