Hi there I would reccomend pilates as a way of toning up. Pilates stregthens your core muscles and therefore tones the stoumouch area quite nicely. At the same time it does wonders for your waist, thighs, arms ect.. I myself have used Windsor pilates and have seen incredible results (20min 3 times a week). However there may be pilates classes in your area. If not there are many affordable dvds on ebay and the like. Good luck :-)

Hi my friend and good luck with that, because I have never been able to loose my baby pouch as I call it...LOL The one exercise I have heard is good for your stomach muscles is crunches. It is sorta like a sit-up but you bend your legs and try and touch your head to your knees. Maybe better talk to a doctor before doing these, especially if you have a bad back. I realy, think swimming is an all round good exercise becasue it uses all your body to move you through the water, and you can work on your tan at the same time. That is a couple ideas I can think of...hopefully you will get some more to choose from. flutterby

sit ups and running are usually good it did help me when i did it and stuck to it. i also found that not drinking fizzy drinks helped me to.
