I think I will just sit back and relax with a hot cup of tea. I was so busy today running around doing errand after errand and now I just want to relax. So I am going to boil a nice hot pot of tea and visit mylot for awhile. How do you relax after a busy day?

relax?? what is that?? I have 2 kids 5 and under so my relax time is less and less these days!! betweening cleaning and recleaning the house about 5 times a day... a sink of dishes that nevers seems to stay empty and a refridgerator that seems to be open 24 hours a day... I dont get my relax time like I use too..... but when I did, it was with a good book!!! ahhhhh!!! I remember those good ole days... when the house was less messy and I had time in the middle of the day or at the end after dinner when everything was getting settled for the night and we would turn on the tv and hubby and my son would watch tv and I would pull out a book and just enter into my own little world!!!! .... hmmmmm, good times!! LOL

I hear you. This week will be just a blur to me as my oldest is graduating high school. Family will be coming in Friday and Saturday for the ceremonies on Sunday. I am also starting my new job next week so that will keep me very busy. Not sure what I am thinking doing this all at the same time.

Hope you are enjoying your hot pot of tea. :) A good cup of hot tea should do it. For me, the most relaxing thing to do would probably be to have a nice hot bubble bath and take my time doing it, or maybe reading a good book, but most of the time my husband and I play a board game like scrabble and we enjoy each other's company and laugh and that's very relaxing.

I like to go out on my deck in the front, look at the beautiful mountain and lake views with my cup of hot chocolate with a dash of Kahlua in it. Yum Yum.

I think my favorite way to relax after a long day is to curl up on the couch. If my husband is home, I love to curl up next to him and watch a movie. If he isnt home, then the cat and I cuddle up for a nap. He always purrs like crazy and it instantly relaxs me and allows me to relax. A hot cup of tea does sound really good right about now, though. Thats not something I do often, but the way you describe it caused me to crave it. I wonder what kinds I have in the pantry...
