Yesrterday a friend asked me a important question. How do I relax after my team(s) lose? At first I just said I change the channel. But then I remembered that I yell at the set and then I change the channel. Then it hit me that i feel So much better when I see an action film. So how do you calm down when you are very angry?

I think the best way for me to calm down is to do gardening. Once I'm in the allotment digging I completely get engrossed with what I am doing and I would not want to stop until I finish what I started. It could be that the fresh air that I breathe helps me to get rid of the poison out of my system. Being a thinker, my safest and most effective way to unwide is gardening.

I wouldn't trust myself in a garden, I wold destroy more than I wold plant.

LOL! I don't do much planting actually, I only do the watering and the weeding..and digging. Husband has green thumb, I don't so I leave him all the planting jobs.

Totally depends on what it is....when I found out my mother had cancer I broke dishes screamed and yelled....it was unbeliveable as I don't do things like that....about the time I had broke about the second dish the doorbell rang and it was a florist delivering flowers from a friend to cheer me up.....he had just lost his wife to cancer.......he stood in my kitchen after I put the flowers on the cupboard and held me while I cried.....but usually I try to put it out of my mind by doing something constructive.....or I simmer about it for days! LOL

Simmering isn't good for me. Simmering becomes plotting and plotting isn't good.I am so glad your friend came over.
