why the world has so many languages?

many languages are told by different part of world. even different part of country. how many different languages in your country? how many languages can you control? is it difficult to manage a language? how long can you manage a language? is anyboy teach you when you study a language? can you use them expertly ?

words are used to communicate.. it may be written or spoken.. it is the only way to understand people. Philippines has 171 native languages / dialects.. Well yes you can use them epertly once you've learned it.. Actually its your environment that teaches you certain language, they play a very big role in learning a new language.

I am not sure. I know English and Spanish is spoken alot here. I know there is also some other language from some of the Muslims here also. I think there is also Chinese.

I think this only proves how unique each one of us when God created us. These many or varied languages may sometimes cause misunderstanding among peoples but this will also test a person's ability to the differences of others.
