I have been watching the History channel again, with our new technologies we are discovering more and more things that we humans have done in the past. I just watched one where the Romans over 2000 years ago destroyed a mountain range with water in search of gold. This was in Spain. They used water pressure for this was a tremendous undertaking. Our new techo gadgets allow us to examine the areas so closely that we now know how they did it. Are you impressed on how inventive our ancestors were?

Hi Savypat, It fascinates me the way that these people done things. I simple adore watching Time Team where they do digs and then reconstruct how the people in the dwellings discovered lived and why a settlement was positioned where it was, my five year old loves to watch too. An excellent way of teaching him history also. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hi savypat, Yes, I'm always impressed when I see how inventive our ancestors were, but I also wonder how much they did that we haven't discovered yet. With changes happening almost daily now no one can keep up, who knows what we'll learn about our ancestors tomorrow? Blessings.
