Do you know what all your cell phone is capable of?? My hubby and I purchased Blackberry phones just a couple months ago...and boy, its amazing!! I told the sales guy, I just want a phone that calls out, and maybe takes pictures because I dont have my camera with me all the time and with 2 kids, sometimes it would be nice. we can view our emails on it... download music like an mp3 player, ....ok this is where I have to stop...because this is all I knew.... well hubbys email was acting up so he went into a store and asked them to look at his phone....HOLY COW, they guy showed him like 10 more things his phone can do!!! like he has satelite radio on his... its really cool!! so I spent the weekend looking up what else my phone can do.......oh and yes, I am totally technology challenged so this is all new to me!!! how about you....do you know all the things your cell phone can do?

Ironically that is just what my friends and I were talking about a couple of minutes before that many people are not aware of the full capability of these high end phones.Personally i dont have high end phone and i am not awara of its full functionality as i dont take time out to explore and even when i had a blackberry ,i still didnt explore.I hope you get an opportunity to learn about this phone thoroughly

I just got an iPhone and I'm loving it so far! And I haven't even downloaded any apps yet - but I agree with you, it's amazing how MUCH phones can do these days (especially smart phones!). I'm totally new - I've never had a smart phone until now - and so I'm still figuring everything out. I can't wait to start using the GPS app.

My mother gave me a birthday gift a year ago. It's a nokia N70. The contacts are amazing. I can put everything important contacts aside from name, phone number and address, it has nickname, home number, fax number, email address, user id, web address, note and birthday and a picture. Applications are very useful to me. I have downloaded a UZZAP application where I have the chance to chat using my yahoo account. The speaker and great, I can play and share my playlist with my friend.

Currently i'm using Nokia 6120c. It's a cheap phone. But i think it has some great features. It has larger memory, smaller compact design, dual camera, and HSDPA 3.5G internet supports. I usually use this cellphone for my wireless internet activities. This cellphone has a miniUSB port and we can use it for many purposes by connecting it to a PC. If i want to using the internet from my PC, simply i connect my cellphone with my PC with one touch service feature and i can start browsing the internet from my PC. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Mine has features on it that I really don't use or need. For one, it has the internet which I think most phones have anyway, I don't use it as it would cost an extra $30 a month, and to me that is very expensive. You can't really do all that much with it anyway on a cellphone. I guess it depends on what kind of cellphone you have too. Before this cellphone, I had a blackberry, but I changed my plan to get more minutes as I did away with my land line. Anyway, I did use the internet on it, but it wasn't really that great I didn't think. I just basically use my phone for calling and talking to people and maybe listening to my music on my cellphone. Cellphones now, are becoming more and more technological that is for sure, way to much lol. Have a very good day, and happy mylotting.

I do my calling and text message for sure. In addition, i can connect messenger, browsing the web, emailing, listen to my favorite musics, get hotspot if any, using gps if i needed for travelling, listen to surrah at anytime because my religion suggest to, have warned to 5 times prays and so much more. The internet radio are installed in my phone too, but rarely use it because i did not have flat rate data plan, it could be so much in cost. All of these, I enjoy the technology. It is very helpful for my activities and entertain during a day.

Hi as far as I know I have a handphone that can snap picture, listen to music and download videos. I have seen my friends having a more hi-tec phone compared to me. Those are the one that you mention that can acually browse through the net and many more. Well I think with the advancement in technology, sooner or later handphone will be a carry on device that can do just what ever yo want to do. Even now it is functioning in that way. LOL Thanusha

I know that my cell phone can do many things. But amony all the functions, I just use five of them: 1.the most major function of a phone-making or answering the phone, usually from my mother 2.sending or receiving messages, often from my friends 3. using the alert clock to wake me up in the morning 4. using the e-dictionary when reading English magazines 5. sometimes also make use of the calculator

Actually i seldom really check and explore the fucntions in my cell phone. Thisis because i think it's good enough for me to know the basics functions such as calling, sending messages, take photos and listening to musics or radio using my phone. I've started to look for these function on the first day i bought it, and after getting the functions and know the way to use them, i'll just stop there and goes on with my life. Perhaps i'm too lazy to do that, and i think it's good enough to know 90% of the functions. Unless there's one day that i am so free and nothing to do, then i think i will start to explore all the functions in my cell phone one by one, haha.

This is an interesting discussion as we all know that with the advancement of technology we can do more with a single device. I can remember when we had phones to make calls with, a camera to take pictures and a music player to listen to music. Now all of that has been combined into one device. My cell phone is not one of those super devices but I am able to take photos and listen to music that I have on my Micro SD card and I find that to be cool and enough for me feature wise but I would love to be able to have internet access like a Blackberry an iphone. Who doesn't want to go on mylot when they are mobile? =)

Hi there! My husband bought me a Samsung Omnia a few months back and I made several attempts to put a review on it in Ciao and Review Stream but I always balked because, well, I am also technology challenged. I would not give justice to the phone Anyway, my phone can send and receive text messages, can call and receive calls, can store a lot of information about my contacts like their address, email add, even the name of their assistant! Well, what else...I know how to store movies and TV shows in it but I really do not know how to put some music in it. I can also read my e-mails on it but only if there is wi-fi. I do not know how to do it without wi-fi. And oh, it has the three most important things to me, a calendar which also keeps my schedule, an alarm clock which I need every morning, and a notepad where I can keep notes and reminders. I am sure it has a lot of other great features but I have not encountered them yet

My cell phone has an alarm clock on it. It also has a countdown timer, a calculator, a calendar where you can make yourself reminders, to-do list, a stopwatch. You can also send and receive email with it and do text messaging. You can also log on to the internet with it. It can do a lot of things. Kathy.
