Proxy servers - Can they hide your identity as 100% un determinable on internet

i have heard that proxy sites can refrain your identity from the internet world. Yeah that is true to some extent.But i wanted to know if there is any software or site which can show that you are in a different country. i mean if you are in US then by using that proxy software it shows you are in Australia or any desired location.By doing that we can participate in many blocked sites for particular countries.I know certain members are doing this.I need an open discussion..Please..

Proxy sites already hide your location and change it to the proxy server's location. So when you'd like to join a Japanese forum or something you just have to go on the look out for a Japanese proxy site and hop aboard. Those blokes think you're Japanese as well and there's your access. :)

This site has proxies from all over the world, so you can just choose the country you want to appear from and set your proxy settings accordingly:
