When you are taking pictures, would you always include a person, a buddy of you, a family member of you in the picture with the nice scenery behind? My family has tendency to take picture must include persons in it. I don't. I can take pictures only the scenery.

When I bought my first camera my father told me to always include people in the pictures, and he told me that pictures without people were boring. In the beginning I followed his advice, but now I sometimes take pictures without people. I often do both, I take some pictures with people and some pictures without people, but it depends what kind of pictures it is. On holdiday pictures I usually include people, but when I take pictures of abandoned buidings (one of my hobbies) I don't include people and I think that people would "ruin" the pictures, because I like to focus on the builings.

How can there be a rule about this? Sometimes it isn't possible to get a "virgin" landscape; sometimes only a human figure can give scale to the shot and at other times they detract from the scene. Often they ARE the picture.

I really do not mind taking pictures with or without people on it. Its the picture that comes out of it that I just mind. I like everything and anything to be taken by my cam. :)
