what is your favorite cartoon when you were young?

Oh my, this could be a real give away of my age! Hahaha!!! But I used to look forward to watching Shazzan! A cartoon by Hanna Barbera which followed the adventures of 2 teenage siblings who traveled around the mystical world of Arabian nights on Kaboobie, a flying camel. During their travel they are often faced with many dangers and when they find themselves in a really tight spot, all they have to do is bring their broken rings together to form the word "Shazzan" and out comes the massive and powerful genie, Shazzan to rescue them!

I loved a lot of cartoons when I was little. I liked the Disney ones [from the 90's], like Timon and Pumbaa, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin and Bonkers. And I liked a lot of the Nickelodeon ones, too,like Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Wild Thornberries, Aaah Real Monsters, Angry Beavers and the Beetle Juice cartoon.

i used to love watching the Raggy Dolls, Gingerbread Man and Mr Men and Little Miss. Most of these programmes don't exist anymore and they are all mainly animatednow. It's a shame how tv programmes have to change over the years, they aren't as good as they used to be.

My favorite was Casper. I just loved that cartoon because they use to make fun of Casper because he couldn't scare anyone. He was so cute. I also liked the Flintstones and Yogi Bear.

my all time favorite is "Tom & Jerry". But i have always been a Disney fan so i love all their animated movies. Dondalduck, mickey, goofy, all are my favorites :)

Hi there lupin0302! My favorite cartoon when I was young was the Popeye the Sailor Man show on cartoon network but not the popeye now there. I like the classic popeye one because the new popeye episodes on cartoon network is not that good. Even now when I am grown up, I really love to watch cartoons because it relieves my stress for a whole day of activities. :)

Donald Duck was my favorite and still am. Donald Duck is a little duck that are struggling to manage different tasks. It mostly go wrong but I like this idea on having and idea and really try it out just to found out it is not working.typical of adults to do that to....the best part is that his brothers kids are helping him out and even make it worse.... Disney´s favorite cartoons are vary and many, but I like donald duck.

When I was young, I liked Voltes V the most. And then there was the RoadRunner, Bugs Bunny, and other cartoons that were available in our local channels. Like you, we didn't have cable tv back then. And I remember, I was a fan of Astroboy. I never missed an episode of that cartoon.

I never got any liking for cartoons since I was young. I don't know? As a child, even if my playmates would watch cartoons I would not and would rather play. I would prefer watching real moving live characters than cartoon. Maybe it is really a matter of choice. But my son love cartoons on the other hand. He loves Tom Sawyer a lot.

I am very happy when im watching cartoons. Specially, lupin, ghost fighter, slamdunk, marcelino (santino is the philippine version), dragonballz and a lot more. Oh i forgot, Tom and jerry is very fun too.

When i was young i started watching sailormoon and ultraman before i moved to power rangers. though some are not cartoons but i think i enjoy them too.Popeye the sailorman was kinda famous back then as well and i never missed out a day to watch popeye. I am still downloading the whole series of popeye and also sailormoon...nice show compared to the cartoons nowadays i think the one last time has more meaning in it as compared to the cartoons now...

My all time favorite cartoon show is dragon ball. Really like the animated and fighting scene. Till now, this animated series has become so popular and bring the cartoon to the reality one in movie - Dragon Ball Evolution -

I have to say my favorite cartoon growing up was Scooby-Doo and the Flintstones. Even to this day I can watch reruns of the old cartoons, I don't really care for the new versions they are okay. But the classics are the best.

i was never really big on cartoons but i loved bugs bunny and still do. it is really funny and some of the humor is definitely geared towards adults or older teens. younger kids just would not get some of it. but it is classic humor and timeless. i do not see it on much anymore and i would love to share it with my son but we do not get boomerang which shows older cartoons. perhaps he will get a chance to see it soon though and he will see why i loved it.

My favorite cartoon is POPOYE teh sailor man, I love the cartoon we he eats the spinach....

My favorite cartoon when i was young was no other than Arthur on the PBS channel. I remember how I always come home and not do anything and I will tune in to watch this show. I love how it talks about friendship and school and it's quite funny. I guess I could relate to it. In the middle of the show they take you around to something related and it will be live. There is two episode in this one hour. Wow, even as a grown up, I still remember watching this show. I will have my children watch this in the future when I have my own family.

Doraemon is my favoriate cartoon, even now i still like to watch. i always dream that one day i can have Doraemon,he can give u all you want , haha~~~

I still watch cartoons.back when I was young,I love watching Ghostbusters, Mr. Bogus, My Little Pony and Friends, Care Bears,and Garfield and Friends.I'm always glued in the TV during Saturday mornings.I still watch cartoons until now that I'm 25 YO.make me feel younger.
