I'm sorry to hear that you lost your laptop, it must a been sad frustrating month you had! I'll be sad and angry, but I don't think there's much I can do about it, apart from buying a new one if I can and be more careful with it.

Hey, I would hate for my laptop to be stolen, but I take good precautions so my laptop can never be stolen. I only use my laptop around my house, I don' take it out anywhere outside or anything like that. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Thats really sad to hear. But i really dont think anything is really possible that we can do and get it back. In case of cell-phones we do have an IMEI number, using which we can trace the phone and POSSIBLY get it back. But since the laptops do not have any tracking mechanism in place its really not possible to get it back. Buying a new one is the only option and also making sure that we do not leave it in a place, from where it could be stolen.

well it depends. First of all you could try hiring a team of highly trained special force marines that specialize in tracking and thief hunting, or you could claim it on insurance and hope they won't raise your premiums (I think the right word is premiums) anyways bad luck about the lap top. It happens there are bad people in this world. Good luck with finding a new one.

Buy another laptop and look after this one better. I have heard that they are putting low jack, the automobile locator, in laptop computers but I had a friend who had that installed in his laptop and it still got stolen. I would recommend a laptop leash, as long as you have something secure that you can leash it to. Otherwise all IO can suggest is vigilance.

Sorry to hear that your laptop was stolen. I would also be very sad and angry who ever stole it. If I don't know who stole my laptop, maybe I should buy a new one if I have the budget as I don't have any other options. If my money is short, I will just go to an internet cafe at the moment and save some money to buy a new laptop.

Oh Lord this is awful, I wish you get through this situation very quickly, I got two laptops and If I were in your place then maybe the first ever thing I will do is to cry profusely, sorry but I am too attached to my laptops, so then after I will buy a new one, but no matter about the new one I will purchase I will continue to think about the one which is stolen, next time be more careful.
