Have You Ever Been In a Movie or Television Series?

Something I've wante to do for a long time now is be in a movie or television series. And by that I don't mean just as one of the main actors/characters. I would be happy if I could just be a minor character or be an extra in a scene. Doing something like this has always been something I've wanted to do since I was a kid. What brought this up is that, while I didn't get to go try, recently auditions were held for a movie named "The Dynamiter" that is going to be filmed in my part of the state. There were casting calls held in my town as well as some surrounding cities. The movie is going to be set in my state, Mississippi too. So I was wondering. Has anyone ever been an extra or more in a movie or TV series? Did you enjoy it? Where can we find you, if so?

I've been in TV before, but not as an official actor. I don't think I have the guts to go to a real audition. Maybe if I was asked on-the-spot to be an extra, I'd do it. As for mere TV appearances...There was one time a concert in a theme park was being featured in MTV, and I saw myself walking in the background with my friends. Then in a talk show, volunteers to dress up like 'Ugly Betty' were needed from the audience. Nobody wanted to go, so I did! Lol, it was not really embarassing. At least for me.

I'd probably be a lot more likely to do that too if it was asked on the spot too. I would probably end up being really nervous if I went to a real audition. What talk show was that you did that on?

It's a Filipino daytime talk show entitled "Ruffa and Ai".

Nope, I've never had the pleasure, but like you I've always wanted to be in a movie. Just a small part, really, or as an extra, just to get the chance to say that I've done it. My acting isn't all that great, so I couldn't really get a bigger role than that...lol.
