what i lovingly call slop

my boyfriend moved from washington state to virginia .. for me :) (met on myspace) and he told me about a food he loved that he ate there.. that i lovingly call.. slop its chop meat, hamburger meat.. with cooked rice (white rice) and a can of cream of mushroom soup (no water added) and u mix them all together and sprinkle garlic salt on top.. has anyone else tried it? i refuse to.. lol but yea.. slop

Ok, maybe I'm not gourmet material, but it sounds ok to me! :) Better than hamburger gravy. I might add onions, though and a little sour cream.

I love to cook and slop sounds interesting as an experiment that you can make better. How about: minced fried onion, fry them with the meat and spices (salt, pepper, hot sauce if you like, I would). Mix with the cooked rice and make either a loaf or patties. Cover with the cream of mushroom soup and to the oven. YUMMY!!! By the way, your boyfriend sounds like the person you can accept some sloppy things from: he can´t be perfect

I agree with you that sounds kind of yuck... I am sure you can cook him much better dishes to get him off of the slop... hehe..
