Do you have Tevo or a DVR recorder and can you really pause live TV?

I love my DVR. I just got it a few months ago. Yes, you can pause live TV. Before, if I wanted to get something to eat or drink, or play with my dog, or something, I would have to wait for the commercial. And by the time the commercials came around, I would be busy with something else, so I'd miss my chance to do what I wanted. Now, I just pause or record the show, come back, and play it. I also used to stay up late or wake up earlier, just to watch something. Now, I can just record it :) And it's a lot better than using a VCR and tapes...

We have DVR, which is really nice because we're always busy during the day so if we miss a tv show then we can just record it and watch it later. I love to record my exercise shows so that I can just watch them whenever I want to exercise. :) We also have TIVO and it's really neat. If you don't want to miss a moment in your tv show, just pause it and go do whatever you had to do and then return and you haven't missed anything!

I do have TIVO and yes, you can pause "live" TV but you do need to realize what you're doing is recording the show that you're pausing and then rewatching. Kind of like a DVD without the actual DVD.
