I saw a number of posts talking about their deleted discussions. Well, I have had 2 discussions deleted during my early months here at mylot but up to now I could not not see what those discussions violated? I read the rules over and over again and found no violation as per my judgment. Well perhaps myLot knows better. Anyway I charged it to experience. How about you, do your think your deleted discussions have been reasonably deleted?

I have one discussion deleted a while ago and I think it is reasonable because I'm whining about loosing a lot of post and it is a violation on mylot rules, but I don't know that time and I was so upset also, thankfully that's the only time I have my discussion deleted. I do check and re-read mylot guidelines every now and then, but I still haven't memorize it yet, hopefully I will soon.

If we learn by our mistakes then we become much better Lotters!

I also remember one or two of my discussions in the past, when I was also new here were deleted. I can't see the reason why they were delete. To check the reason for its deletion, I read and reviewed the guidelines but I still don't have the idea. I just stick to the rules, I so I can be sure that my discussions in the future will not get deleted again. So far, in almost a year of being a mylotter, I have no more discussions deleted. Nice to hear from you my friend.

So nice to hear from you too my friend! Yes, sticking to the rules will help solve the problem. If we feel the topic is somewhat questionable, better not post it at all because it will only waste the effort. Have a nice day Nield and hope you are making good in all your activities.

I dont think I have ever had any deleted, but if I ever did, it would obviously be because I broke a rule.

I remember I have one before long time ago when I tried to post to report a violation of one member who seem to spam every topics with nonsense. I reported it by posting wherever he posts. The post was deleted together with my posts as well. I have a post in here that does not have any response at all and it still is up and remained unreplied to. I wished that it be deleted but to my knowledge it is still there.

Hi friend! Ah yes that post of yours is a violation! Well, at least you learned from that mistake. And yes, it is a good idea that if those posts without responses be deleted after sometime. Have a nice day!

Yeah but one good thing is that they also took out the one that is annoyingly present and that member too that made that posts. I feel that if I didn't do anything about that the post could have been there too for a longer time. With regards to the post I that was never responded to. I checked it out and it was already gone. I guess they have removed it after sometime.

I am not sure if any of my discussions have been deleted, but I am sure one or two has in the past. Possibly those when I was still new here, but even now that I've been here for awhile I make mistakes on here. If any are ever deleted I chalk it up to experience as well, and just keep on typing. We're here mostly for fun anyway, so why let it bother us? I say this but I get bothered by mylot a lot!

Yes you are right! It is a very nice attitude to charge everything to experience. We are learning from those mistakes after all. Don't be bothered by myLot but enjoy myLot rather. Have a nice day SomeCowgirl!

halo salonga.. Reasonably for what? If it should be deleted. Then it was deleted, it's simple. May we just follow the guideline and read the FAQs to make or posts topic discussion. That's all. You have so many number activities. Different assumption will make debate never end..You must know about that already. good day, happy myLotting..

i am sure some of my discussions have been deleted but i have no proof of it,i am sure to see to it that none of my discussions violate the mylot guidelines, but as you and many others have pointed out that they donot understand which guideline they have violated.

I've never had any deleted discussions I don't think, I know when I posted a reply one time and it said I needed to change my wording, thats happened a few times. Its hard sometimes to figure out why a discussion got deleted, I never seen any violations, but I guess they know what they're doing, and its their job to correct us, and to make sure everybody's going by the rules.

Yes there is automated pop up that reminds us to change our wordings. I encountered that too. I hope mylot could also automatically detect which post violated the rules on posting even before it gets posted.

Hi my friend, As far as I can remember, discussions will be deleted when you are talking about mylot earnings, how much you earned for a day. I don't know why they don't want us to post about it. I remembered when I was yet new here I posted same discussion it's because I am happy to have that earnings but they don;t want us to do that so, since then, I never mentioned of how much I earned. Of course it is discouraging when your discussion will be deleted. One things also is that when we post link to our discussion which is not related, it is once cause of deletion. Once a discussion is deleted, all the responders on that particular discussion are affected that is why we must be careful of what post to respond hahaha...

Hi salonga! As always it is wonderful to see you! I hardly ever start discussions so I really can't comment on this subject personally. I do know that many of my friends have had their discussions deleted and not known exactly why. It can be a variety of reasons and usually it has nothing to do with the discussion starter! It may be something that someone in the discussion does or says. I will be here a year in June and for the life of me I haven't yet been able to figure out mylot admins rules and quite honestly I think that is the way that they want it to be! So, I think that we just have to accept what they do without question because that is all we are going to get from them!

Hi Opal, it is also wonderful to hear from you! Yes you are right, we just have to accept the rule. I myself could not understand why this and this should be prohibited but we are under the rule here so we have to just abide. Thanks for sharing my friend and hope you are doing fine! Have a nice day!

Nope, so far i haven't experienced any discussion deleted. it only happens when some one from my lot has violated one of the rules. that means if you discussed something that is in direct violation and some one reported it. then , it's gone.and worse, what if that discussion has more than one responses.. we all have to be careful in making discussions.

Yes you are right Mikaela, I am happy you are responsible enough! Keep it up! I pays to read the rules carefully. There are so many topics that have to be avoided and they are clearly specified here. Have a nice day!

Hello, salonga! Well, all my discussions are still alive, nothing got deleted. Discussions are deleted for a reason. They are deleted because it had violated the rules. Some of the violations are: duplicate topics, game/poll/quiz type discussion, milestone, promotion of affiliate programs and other things that had violated the guidelines. If you follow the rules, nothing on your discussions will be deleted. Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

Till now it my discussions has not been deleted. When they pay you, they have the rights to delete something which they feel should not be on their site. So it's fair in a sense.
