I like green tea alot, cold or hot. Does anyone out in Mylotter land like green tea too? If so what is your favorite brand? My favorite is Celestial Seasonings or Lipton.

If I say that I have never had green tea in my life, will you kick me out by saying :"If you don't have it then why the hell you are responding here"? I hope not. Well, I have never had green tea in my life but I have had a leaf tea(does that count as a green tea) but the leaves were not green, they were black! I don't know which brand or flavor it was of!Sorry.

No I'm not that kind of person. Green tea takes some getting use to. I love it cold more than hot. Leaf tea does not count as greet tea. You should try the green tea if you are in to teas. I like the hot green tea with lemon its delicious. I make sun tea with green tea its quite refreshing. Plus its very healthy for you. Have a great day!

I enoy green tea. I'm a big loose leaf tea fan, of all kinds, really. I have lots of different tastes. Green teas I'm fond of... dragonwell, sencha, mandarin orange, lemon green, things like that. Light, sweet, and gentle. :) It's nice iced or hot, I agree. Tea brands that I like include... Teavana, Mighty Leaf, Tazo (which is bag tea), and Rishi. :)

Sure thing! Tea is the best thing in the world... I love the history of it, the cultural importance of it to many people in the world, and of course the variety and the tastes. :) I hope you get a hold of some new things and you like them!

I do like green tea. I like how it tastes and I really like how healthy it is to drink. Right now I am drinking the Lipton brand. I will pretty much buy what ever brand is on sale. I do like the Lipton though. Celestial Seasons always has great teas. I love the their blackberry tea. It is probably my favorite tea flavor wise.

Nice discussion..Green tea is good for health. I take it once a day.It keeps away sleep,so I often prefer taking it while I am on work.It has many medicinal values..Yesterday I read something about it in a medical journal.I would like to share it with you....The synopsis of the article goes like this: Green tea has been used as a medicine in China for at least 4,000 years. Today, scientific research in both Asia and the west is providing hard evidence for the health benefits long associated with drinking green tea. It reduced the risk of esophageal cancer in men and women by nearly sixty percent. University of Purdue researchers recently concluded that a compound in green tea inhibits the growth of cancer cells. There is also research indicating that drinking green tea lowers total cholesterol levels, as well as improving the ratio of good (HDL) cholesterol to bad (LDL) cholesterol. Apart from it, Green tea can even help prevent tooth decay..... But the only harmful effect of Green tea is it can cause Insomnia,as it contains caffeine.. So it should be taken in small quantity regularly.

I knew it was good for you but I didn't know all this info. I didn't know it caused insomnia I wonder if that is part of my problem of only getting 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night. Thank you so much for all the info and for responding.
