In every picture that i join whether ID picture or with friends, i make it a point to smile, smiling is one form to make the pictures beautiful, smiles reflects the feeling inside of you.

here in canada you are not allowed to smile for any sort of official picture and since i dont have a drivers license, that doesnt matter. however, even with our ontario health cards (yes folks, we get our basic health care for free), although you not supposed to smile and though i did, they didnt seem to mind. its actually a really great picture of me!

I think it should be ok for people to smile in there ID photos becuse a person still looks the same regardless what difference would it really make if a person smiles or not. Oh and by the way, WOW I wish people in the U.S could get free health care that must be cool not to have to worry about health care, thumbs up too you and thanks for responding.

I did smile. Gosh i can't imagine having my pic taken without smiling. What is DMV thinking? Do they think people would really take good driving seriously by looking serious on their license pic? That is totally ridiculous. I don't think i look good in pictures when i'm not smiling. I've just gotten used to smiling whenever my pic is taken. So instead of saying "cheese" should we say "hmnn" at the DMV next time? Man we all are going to look like constipated with that. lol j/k :D

I always smile. It is just who I am! I smile for pictures. I smile at everyone. It is just something that I do - so much so that a few people call me 'smiley'! I think it is silly that they would regulate that. Why would it matter? A person should still look like their picture regardless of whether or not they are smiling. If someone doubts them, they can always ask them to smile!

I agree it shouldn't matter if a person smiles in there ID photo becuse there face looks the same ether way, so to me it would be kind of needless for them to stop people from smiling in those kinds of pics. thanks for your responds.
