Life was going good for me.. I was finally starting to be happy. i was getting out of the house and everything... but now.. now i am sad again. a friend has died and my girl isn't talking to me. i don't want to fall back into depression but i feel like thats where i'm going. it's so hard not to keep a sad look on my face. my parents asking me over and over "Whats wrong??" "why do you look sad?" blah blah... it sucks. i don't know what to do and the weather has been so crappy lately.. i think its starting to get a little better it's not raining ALL day long just once or twice through out the day... why does life bring us up to only knock us back down?

reading scripture from the Bible, listening to spiritual music or something else inspirational picks me up when I'm down. Also prayer and worship of God picks me up. There is simply no way that anyone can be in the presence of the Living God and remain the same.

You sound like you are talking yourself into depression. You are in control, don't do it. Find little things to make yourself happy, forget your problems by helping someone worse off than you. Remember that the way you mind works is to attract what is catching your attention so put your attention toward a better goal than depression. Blessings

That's how we get strong, dear. The tree that is staked for protection will blow down if its supports are taken away but the sapling that's been battered and hailed upon will grow strong and supple, bending but never breaking. Talk to your parents! You have to get this out to a real person that can comfort you and encourage you. That's what your parents are for, so please let them do the job they so love doing.

Listen to the song by Rodney Atkins. It's called IF YOU"RE GOING THROUGH HELL. I listen to this song every time I'm down and it helps pick me up.
