oh hell yes! i am a superfan, and just lately within the last few years rock has been about more than just growling or whatever to chigging guitars. now it is all about having the vocals and a good song structure. lyrically sound rock music. it is an art from the singing all the way to the way the instruments are played, and being a frontperson is an art within itself\m/

I think all kinds of music is art. I think anything that takes time, creativity, and effort could be considered art.

yes rock is an art when you really think about it the artist or the song writer spends days or years on a masterpeice which is judged by the general public and unlike artist they get to spend the money made from there art
