..I don't! Since my fave songs are really good ones, exposing them to people would mean having to share fave songs with others. I just.. don't like it that way. Hehe. ;) How about you?

well,i like it if it comes in as a surprise.it's happened to me a couple of times....like there'll be this song that i like very much but haven't listened to in a long time.suddenly it plays on the radio as if to remind me "you haven't listened to me in a while" and it does bring a smile on my face.

Hehehe! That did happen to me and it reminds me of how I get to love a certain song. I only really like songs when I can relate to them and when they make sense. ;)

goodies! I like I Knew I Loved You more though. ;) Those are the kinds of songs I remember regardless of years passing by. Thanks for sharing in this discussion so much! ;)

i agree with you in totality, pam!for me,just a catchy tune isn't enough.the songs that really stay with me for years are the ones that have lyrics worth dying for! a few songs like that are "you're still the one" by shania twain and "i knew i loved you" by savage garden

Hello. Oh I feel the same regarding your favorite song being exposed and sometimes causing it to be played too much. But I just keep in mind that, before they got to listen to that, I already knew it long time ago. :)

;) Yea! That's really a nice way to think of it. "I loved that song before THEY even knew." Right? I'm not really the type who follows what's "in" anyway. ;) Thanks.

That's a funny way to look at it... don't want to share your favorite song to others. Haha! :) I like it when I hear my favorite song on the radio, especially when I haven't heard it for a long while. I have lots of fave songs from the 80s and 90s, it's quite rare to hear them on the radio everyday, so I feel like it's refreshing to hear them again, like I'm teleported back to my childhood/teen days.

I'm not too "into" 80s and 90s.. just a bit! I like Firehouse's You Are my Religion. If that IS from the 80-90s. ;p They play oldies every Sunday here, and sometimes it makes my day.

If it is my favorite song then I will certainly prefer hearing it again and again.....One of my favourite song is "Everything I do, I do it for" by Bryan Adams.I hear it many times not matter where. I can hear it in my cell phone,CD player,I pod or even on a radio. I like hearing songs on our local FM station.

In this regard I am not quiet fortunate.Though I love the choice of the RJ who is playing the songs but they play English songs only thrice in twenty and that too only for two hours...Rest of the time they play Bollywood songs.I prefer a separate radio station for this classics..

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "Bollywood songs"? Heh heh..

Well, I like to listen to my faves every now and then too. Honestly, I don't know much songs of Bryan, only the remake of Right Here Waiting (which I love so much by the way)and the song you mentioned. ;) Your FM stations rock, then! They do know how to pick good songs.

i like hearing my favorite songs on the radio, especially if they are from the bands that i idolize. i would not feel bad if they become famous and idolized b other people because that would mean that their excellence is recognized and that their hard work is paying off.

This was what I was thinking about too. I get it. ;) I guess it is better when they're listened to by more people.

Hmm, i don't really mind hearing it on a radio/television. If it's your favorite song, then at least for me doesn't matter whether I hear them on my PC or Radio/TV. I'm just glad i can listen to the songs I like :)

Well if i have a favorite song then i would just download it then listen to it at the comfort of my computer or mobile phone. At least this way i really don't have to share it with everybody right? Besides, i don't really listen much to radio lately. It's just not for me. I have outgrown it already and got tired of it.

Yup. That's what I've been doing too because radio stations' songs here are rarely worth listening to.

Hi, I listened to the song. And it's been the song I've always been searching for but couldn't find because I couldn't understand a word. Thanks for sharing! ;)

I only like hearing the really catchy ones. The songs i would like to hear at a party and that mood set don't go well while driving along in the car. I think some radio stations over play songs and it kills them. They should play a bigger variety of top list songs instead of thrashing away at popular new songs all the time. So my final answer is no not really.

Uh-huh. I mean, for example.. Yeah, Taylor Swift's music is good but I can't bear hearing her songs at least 3 times in a day again and again.. Stations should keep up with fresh songs.
