hello everyone... i just want to know if we really need a reason for everything? why we can't just accept things just it is...why we always ask for explanation? for evidences? is that really how people lives now a days? like for example, some people do not believe in God because they said there's no evidence of it... what do you think? not just in this issue of God's existence but in everything, in our daily lives...do we really need a reason, an evidence to believe in something? thanks and have a nice day! :-)

I think so ^_^ We need reasons for everything we do, and that applies in our daily life.. Such as, why we need a house, so that we can sleep.. CAr, because it's more convenient.. Work, so that we can support ourself financially.. lol =D Thus u see, as long as we are being asked something, it's natural that we give reasons for our actions.. Reasons and questions come together as a pair ^_^ However, some ple often use excuses for reasons, and that's definitely not that right thing to do ^_^

Yeah, but i still think it's because of questions, that's why we have reasons... Maybe, it's a matter of trust between each other ^_^ Just like good frenz asking me for loan, i wont ask for their reason and i will loan it to them, because i trust them ^_^

I think there is understandable, ckyera! we are just human, we are intellectual being and curiosity is part of our way of thinking process and allow us to seek out the reason to reach the understanding of the unknown. For certain people with brain inside the head, 'reason' is what make him strife to seek the truth along the line, nothing wrong with that; but then for the idiots, they just follow blindly and receive without asking or even bother to seek for the reason why is and that, and of course it is a lot convenience and easier to disregard reason and explanation and accept thing as it is, no doubt about that. If man doesn't try to seek for reason and evidence, mankind will never know the earth is round, many will just accept the religious leader claim that our earth is flat, and whole lot of other example in life that tell us reasoning is an important step for us to reach the truth.

HI ckyera, life and universe in themselves are complicated, it doesn't need man seeking of reason to make it so, as our creator put us in his creation with a thinking brain, not just an empty box inside our head. That is correct, earth is long mentioned in bible before Christ as round, but many don't read bible so unknown of that. When Galileo go against the Roman Catholic hierarchy and challenge the leadership earth revolve around sun in our solar system, he was ex-communicated and called an apostate and thrown in jail, reason can get us to the understanding and truth, evidence can help us reach justice, while faith can bring us closer to God; but curiosity will not bring you to trouble except ignorance couple with arrogant. lol!

Hi Cykera, In life we need reasons for many things. But regarding ‘GOD’, it is really a different issue. I think those who don’t believe in God will never believe even if you give reasons for them. They may just deny the thing by saying it may be because of some other reasons and will say different reasons for proving themselves. Those who believe in GOD never need a reason for believing HIM, it is also a fact.

yeah i think so... and that's really how things are doing, we all have our own belief & it takes faith to believe in God... and i think people just tend to believe what they want to believe even if the evidences are right there in front of them... thanks sreekala for responding!

Sometimes making a reason for something makes the situation even more complicated..but everything has it own reasons..we live in a complicated world in a complicated place. We have also our own reasons on why we are doing these things in our life.

Hi ckyera. Actually we have no need to search for an evidence behind a object. Say, u were totaly unknown about your father bfore ur birth. U were too familiar to your mom when she feeded her milk but father, how u came 2 know that he is ur father. U were totaly dependent to your mom when she said that he is your father. But there is a chance of telling a lie by mom. But hav u ever suspected your mom? No, why? Bcoz u have faith on her and so no evidence is required here. Then why evidences? Its true that u cant tell this to a police or lawer. Hehehe.

hello shibham, well i agree with you that faith has got something to do with it. but like what you have said, we can't always use this in everything coz somethings really needs an evidence to be proven...

I agree...sometimes people make things too complicated! WHen the answer is right in front of us or there is more important things to think about then the complexities of certain things....

We need reasons because we don't believe. For example, people need evidence for proofing God's existence before they can believe in it. If there are already the reasons/evidence right in front of us, there is no point denying the facts.
