Chiropractic Care does work!

Most of you know about the problems I have been having with my back. I went out on my own (worker's comp doctors were telling me there is nothing wrong with my back) and got a second opinion. I have several twisted bones in my back and I have been having treatments for them for the last two weeks. I have started to notice a small difference; I am not in as much pain as I have been and can be a bit more active. The doctor tells me it will be 6-9 months before I am back to work but at least what he is doing is helping me some. My lawyer is trying to get this care covered under workman's comp and has submitted his findings to the department of labor for consideration. We should have a ruling on this in a week or two. The investigator from the department of labor has said she feels I have NOT received proper care by the workman's comp doctor. This is good news! Have you ever been to a chiropractor for a back problem and did it help you?

i've been a few time, at first it did, but when i fell and hurt my back my doctor told me if i would have gone to a chirpractice i wouldn't be walking it would have done more damage to me. i went once after i got hurt and i just hurted more after so i stopped going there. but have fun with workman comp. they sat there and told me i could go back to work, and there was nothing wrong with me, but when i asked them if they had a opening where i used to work, it was a different story then. be glad you got a lawyer and he's good

My lawyer is AWESOME! She stays right on top of everything and has worked really hard thus far. I can't for the life of me understand how workman's comp doctors can sleep at night knowing they send people back to work when there is a real medical issue at hand.
