I used to watch that cartoon, way back, in the seventies, in Germany. It was about this family in the future, all with high-tech gadgets. And I vividly remember a scene where the young son, maybe 8, was talking with his father while he was in school. I guess he was in a math class, had a question his teacher couldn’t answer, and he called his dad over his wristwatch. And dad appeared on this little screen and talked back to his son. It looked very futuristic at the time, and it looks like the future is now. When you watch a science fiction, you always believe that it happens in the distant future. I didn’t know that ‘distant future’ means 30 to 40 years, because that’s what it turned out to be, cell phone being what they are……

I remembering watching the Jetson's during my elementary days. I watch it in cartoon network before going to class. They are the family who are very futuristic with inventions that were never been invented. I remember the one of the color of the character is green in dress. They have space ships that allows them to travel in school and at work. I don't remember much but I did enjoy watching it when I was young.

I used to love the Jettson's and I've often thought of George Jettson with his throbbing, crooked finger after a hard day's work pushing buttons when I've spent a lot of time on the computer. We're closing in on the robot help, too. There are robots that clean your floor and now a rechargable battery powered robot that mows your lawn.
