I love salads. I make them with lots of different things and almost always there are tomatoes included too. I don't usually add onions because I don't like them afterwards I like pasta salads too and my favorite is with tomato and mozzarella and basil and just a dash of olive oil. That is very refreshing and the smell of the basil is such a summery smell too.

I like more light meals in summer and heavier hot meals in colder months. I do eat alot of salads in warmer weather plus it's nice when some of the ingredients come from our garden

I love this kind of food anytime of the year but in the summer it is especially nice. For a dish like this I would use Feta cheese asit has a lovely salty taste to it which really goes well with the sweetness of the tomatoes and the strength of the onions.

I make a tomato salad too. I like to use either cherry, grape or regular tomatoes. A mixture of red and yellow is nice too. I add olive oil, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix it all up and the salt makes the tomato juices come out and mix with the olive oil and form a sort of "dressing". I also like to add bocconcini sometimes which is little mozzarella balls or you can add chick peas or cucumber slices or even slices of leftover boiled potato. Have this with a crunchy piece of Calabrese bread to dip in the sauce and you have a delicious summertime meal.

This is one of my favourite meals to eat during the summer months when it's too hot to eat a heavy meal, but when I still want to eat something filling. I also like eating Danish open faced sandwiches (bread with light toppings, such as cheese, smoked salmon, shrimp and caviar, pickled hering, smoked eel...)

It depends on the mood. If I'm sad a chocolate bar is enough If I'm happy also a chocolate bar is enough Sometimes I prefer the food that is really so complicated and I feel great. And some other times just a sandwich with a cup of tea and milk is more than enough. The salad dish you just described looks good, except I hate onions, and I can't eat cheese unless it's with bread. Enjoy your light meal

Hello icesmile, I like exactly the same thing almost but not exactly the same as there is a small difference between the salad which I prepare and the salad which you prepare. I actually prepare mine without the addition of cheese but with the addition of basil leaves whose aromatic flavour enhances the whole thing, you really should try adding fresh basil leaves.

I love salads in summer. I also love to make cold soups, like gazpachos. I like tomatoes only if they are home grown: they have such a different taste. I also eat a lot iceberg lettuce, endives, water cress and any green I can lay my hands on.

Really and truly i like any type of food lolz I do like light salads, as long as they have some type of vegitable like carrots or cucumbers in it. Sometimes meat is good in it, but things like chicken or shrimp, not ham and stuff. I like complicated food too, like pasta and such. Pasta is friggin wonderful!

weekend lunches need to be simple foods, a decent salad needs a side of boiled eggs with salt and yummy bacon pieces. i sometimes sneak to the kitchen and fry some cheese and tomatoes sandwiches in the bacon fat, but thats our secret.
