Jon and Kate Gosselin... What's your opinion?

they are making their children's lives miserable. i mean growing up in front of the camera at the same time having a dysfunctional family would not do them any good at all. they are not able to focus on the development of their children because maybe all the exposure give them little alone time with each of the children. i hope they stop making their family part of other families' entertainment. i guess they should fix whatever it is they need to fix, but not in front of the camera.

The thing is all relationships go through tough times - and many relationships have cheating partners etc. the thing about this relationship is the media is involved because of the show. I don't see why so many people are making a big deal out of it - its a big media stunt to get more viewers to the show etc. because first jon wants out of his contract and then he says they're exploiting children and now they aren't etc. Basically its their income and as long as Americans are watching this show and helping degrade our country then its going to keep airing. I mean seriously, look down your street - how many people are cheating? Is this as big of news as you think? And the kids... they're so wrapped up in what is going on I'm pretty sure they love the attention because they don't seem affected by it. yes there are cameras all in their faces - but its their lives now and what the media is saying isn't really affecting them, yeah dad might not be around but with or without cameras that would of happened.

i'm in the uk and have heard of the tv program but never seen it - what are they doing exactly? x

I've always been in awe of this family, but now I see it was just a front. So many times, the media and the glamour of the new life that TV and money creates for a family causes the basic family structure to all apart. Jon started doing his thing and Kate started doing her thing and before you know it, Jon got caught with a woman half his age coming out of a night club. Kate has been repeatedly pictured with her bodyguard who left her to go back home to his wife. I think that if a family wants to stay together, they will. A fantastic example isthe Duggar family of Arkansas. The Duggar family also has their own reality show, but when have you EVER seen Michelle Duggar out with another man or Jim Bob out with another woman? When have ANY of the Duggar kids EVER been in trouble with the police or arrested? They haven't. Just goes to show you that some people lack morals.

I don't like this situation! Jon and Kate are exploiting their kids! Kate more then Jon! Jon is a hand pecked husband and wants to stay out of the spot light when not doing the show. Kate on the other hand is a *itch and loves the spot light all the time! I believe Jon cheated on Kate and when kate found out she cheated on Jon with her body guard to spite him! I also know Kate is very spoiled by the money they get from TLC for doing their show! The whole family gets freebies,like trips to Hawaii,and toys for the kids! When Kate is on her book tour you know she isn't paying for any of it! TLC takes care of all that! I want to see Jon and Kate divorce and TLC take their show off the air! They are screwing up their kids and I can see all of them having some kind of problems in the furture for what their parents are doing! This is my opinion!

Jon and Kate Gosselin have eight children--twins and sextuplets--and have made their lives into a reality TV show. Basically, I think that the children are being exploited just for ratings, and now with the marriage going to pieces, it's only going to get nastier between Jon and Kate (who is already a nasty piece of work herself, judging from all of her rude comments to Jon). I hope that made sense...my thoughts are racing right now. Let's just say that I hope that the show gets pulled, for the sake of the children.
