What is the best footwear you had? How long did it last?

I think most of us love to wear shoes that matches our personality and lifestyle. Women love shoes in different colors and styles and they even store them in their closets to look at before wearing them. I recently bought a new one, it is a chuck taylor converse shoes and i enjoy wearing it everyday! Since it is relatively cheap, i am planning to buy another one. My job is in sales and i usually walk a lot. It is a must to wear comfortable shoes when i do fieldwork. For you, what is the best footwear you had?
