Okay - so right now i'm having some biggest loser withdrawls since the show won't be back until next season..I think this show is one of the best reality shows ever. I have watched it from Season 1 and I find it soo motivating. I find myself tearing up when I hear their stories and jumping for joy when they lose the desired amount of weight....I'm a little bit suprised that Helen won this season, but still...best show ever!

I only watched this show couple of times so far. It is really amazing someone who is two or three hundred pound can lose so much pounds in a matter of month,it seem like those 'porky" transform from one entity into another human being in such a short period of time has changed from biggest loser into biggest winner of all time, it take so much hard work for them to achieve that , and i have respect for most of them when they successfully shed those pounds.

That is right! 'Porky' become "gladiator" after months of professional coaching n training. They are ready to kick As*., they are real inspiration to me, and i think they deserve my utmost respect to such a drastic transformation through so much hard works on their parts.

I agree . .this show is great. . .sends a good message and teaches people at the same time .. I love to see the transformation week after week .. especially when you see them at the beginning they can barely take a walk around the block and then they are running almost 30 mile marathons! and of course I always seem to cry during some part of the show. . . the only problem that there seems to be is that the majority of them put it back on .. and that always makes me sad and wonder WHY???? but all in all I too am missing it and look forward to the next season

Hey Lampa - yes, it truly is amazingt that they can lose soo much weight. The only negative that I find with the biggest loser is that it is slightly unrealistic. In reality, none of us really have access to 24/7 personal trainers, 6-8 hours in the gym every day, etc...But as you say, the biggest loser is making a big winner out of everyone

I love Biggest Loser!! It's my favorite show EVER. If it wasn't for BL, I would not be as fit as I am now, and I would have never heard of Jillian, who totally changed my life with her "Master Your Metabolism" book. I can't wait for it to start up again!

HI there Leyisa: I love the show too, it will be back on soon, not sure what date they start up again In July I think?? But I'm not sure; I wish I felt like exercising along with them, I have so much pain in my neck and back from a Car accident and deal with pain 24/7. Even if I was a healthy person I don't think I'd ever be able to keep up with Gillian and Bob, man they push those people BEYOND their limits; But I dearly love the show and I hope it stays on for a long long time, I know it has inspired and helped so many over weight people; Best Show Ever!!

Hey there - Does it start in July? I was under the impressions that it wasn't going to star again until September, which is usually when all the new seasons start...I hope I am wrong and you are right :) I hope the pain that you are feeling from your accident goes away, or at least gets more manageable soon. Take care :)

I love Biggest Loser, too, although I haven't kept up with it this last season. It really motivates me, too, at least while I'm watching it. . It's really eye-opening and gives you hope & motivation for the future. It's one of the few TV shows that you actually DON'T want to eat popcorn while watching - and if you ask me, it's one of the few reality show that actually has substance and is genuine.

Speaking of eating, There was actually a time last year when I was watching the previsou season of TBL (the one that Michelle won)..ANyhow I had just finished exercising while watching it and I came upstair and my husband was eating icecream...So I sat down and ate icecream with him while watching the biggest loser...it was actually quite funny.. I agree with you - it is very genuine and you see the results right before your eyes..

I totally dig this program too. Like you, I watch it because it keeps motivated with my diet and my workout. There are days when I get a little bit lazy, but each time I see the contestants on TV and I see how much bigger their problems are compared to mine, I tell myself that there is absolutely no reason for me to slack off. Sometimes, I even find myself in tears when I'm watching The Biggest Loser. The lives, personal battles, and triumphs of the contestants teach us real-life lessons and I find them courageous to be willing to be on TV to do something like that.

I agree with you Russ - I actually tear up when I hear their personal battles b/c I think in some way I can relate to their problems. I find myselt heartbroken when they get on the scales and they have not lost any weight or even worst, gained weight. I would love for them to do a reunion show one of these days to see what's going on with some of the conttestants..
