When I discovered this nice little typing help program I was immediately reminded of a discussion by another mylotter some time ago. The name is Rapid Typing and the app doesn't take up a lot of space on your computer. It takes you through a series of typing tests that will help you to improve your typing skills. After being away from a keyboard for many years I find that my typing skills are not what they used to be, so I decided to give it a try. It's really fun. I scored 64 wpm on my first try. The program also has some nice ambient music to listen to while you test your typing skills. You can check it out at http://www.rapidtyping.com.

I've been looking for this kind of program to enhance my typing skill for so long now... & at last someone came to the rescue... Really glad that I've found MyLot & have started to learn things that I thought non-existent or impossible to attain. Will give this one a try... it might serve me well in the future! Thanks!

I'll have to send this to my Mom. She really needs to improve her typing speed. She can type about 15-20 wpm. That is okay for her. She likes to write stories and this would help her immensely. Thank you WW!

Hey worldwise. I downloaded the typing test then went tom play a game and am now downloading what I need to play the game...it's taking ages. I went looking for the lessons and found I have to download something else again for the lessons. Is this what you did? I find it strange that I cannot download everything at once.

I'm such a dodo. This is supposed to be an easy site and I cannot figure it out. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Thank goodness for delete buttons, backspace buttons and spellcheck.

Thanks for the link and info on this. We can all use some improvement. I know I could. I have a CD I use that is Mavis Beacon. That one is fun and I have impoved. It also has a place where you can print out a certificate too. I was just instant messaging with someone last night and they made committ that they felt they could use some typing lessons. I will give them that link. Thanks again.
