Have you earned a degree online?

Or are you currently "attending" an online school? My bother has earned his bachelors degree online. At the actual school there are about 65 students. But there are a couple of thousand online. There will be a graduation in Iowa. That's where the school is located. My brother wants to actually walk across a stage and receive his diploma. So he will be making the trip. Did you know you could do that?

No, I haven't earned a degree online but I have wanted to get my G.E.D online I just don't know much about how to go around it and do it. Congrats! on your brother earing his degree he earned the right to walk proudly across that stage and I hope he will get to follow his dreams and do what he set out to accomplish.

Hello ersmommy. Congratulations on your brother's having earned his bachelors degree online. It must be a very hard job as everything you will have to do is to study by yourself. It is really great of your brother to have made it. Yes, I know that we can get some degree online, as it is of the same in China. Take care, friend.

I have not tried to get a degree online although I know that there are a number of schools that offer online degrees, a very neat idea indeed. Cheers!!

Not for me, but for my dad. He used to study online through correspondence study wherein they will send him the tools needed for study. He will answer exams on books and send it back to them for checking. After that, they will give a certificate for finishing the study. Although it was really expensive because you don't need to attend daily to school and listen to the teacher speaking. This is more on self study and at the convenience of your home. Since my dad is working and at the same time, wants to advance more his knowledge on different things in Biblical Theology, so that's why he took an online study. Convenient although just expensive.

My sister is currently doing this. I guess the school that she chose is completely online and she takes 1 class per term and that's it until she earns her degree. I think it's kind of foolish, personally. I just finished my first year in college and I took about 30 credits this year and in the same time I think she's taken about 2 or 3 classes. At that rate, it will take her 4 years just to earn her associates degree, which is what she's going for. I do like online classes, though. The college I used to go to offered them and they were the greatest thing ever! It's much more convenient than attending classes and it's nice because you can do classwork and such around your own schedule, so it's very good when you have to hold a job. ^_^
