Oh darn I have to wait until I make like 200 posts? Then I ask what's the point of having them on here and then having to wait? What a weird rule! I remember someone telling me that you can't copy or paste articles or typed topics after 500 posts, well yeah I can understand that I mean don't most spammers copy and paste messages? Then I read that rule that it's not cool to copy paste copyrighted or things on the internet like say for example one likes this movie, they create a discussion about the movie then copy and paste the info they got from like IMDB or another website that has the synopsis of the movie. Argghh but like I said it sure can be fun using those emotes.

You sound so emo right now haha! Well the emotes never was around when I started using Mylot. Year by year Mylot puts new things on this site. The layout also wasn't always like this too. You never know what will come up next from Mylot yet it keeps getting better. Cheer up you have like another 163 more to go! Sounds small doesn't it? LOL!

I know 200 posts seems like a really big deal, but you'll get there pretty soon. I'm not sure why you can't post them before 200, maybe it's motivation to keep members active. With the 500 posts before getting to copy and paste thing, it's a real pain, but it also keeps spam down to a minimum.

Yeah really I mean I wish it wasn't such a big deal I mean for one who likes to put little smiley happy faces every once in a while. But yeah I'll have to look at it at a brighter side like you said that it keeps users wanting to use Mylot more often. Thanks!

Yes on mylot you can copy/paste after you reached the 500 posts in reality!!So you can't copy/paste topics or posts from other sources but better you write it down by yourself..So i see now your number of posts is quite low and so you must now write a bit more posts before having this...for the moment i guess you can write normlly and after you can decide i think there is a kind of control here for copyrighted posts and if you copy copyrighted contents here i think you will banned...

I just ran into that copy and paste rule the other day! I didn't expect it at all! But it does make sense as you said. The only bad thing was that I was posting a fairly long article that they deemed as adult and my preferences weren't that way so I couldn't cut and paste it. I ended up posting it to my wordpress instead.
