I always wanted to make a doll. Now, I am sitting at the house with no job I find I have a lot of time to research stuff on the internet. I found this doll making site, and the dolls patterns seem easy enough. I have not tried any yet because I don't have the necessary items to make them. I will go to the store sometime this week and try to make a couple dolls. Here is the link http://dollmaker.nunodoll.com/santa/baby.html. I did the url for the angels, but there are other types of dolls.

The dolls are so cute. When it involves sewing, I am in trouble..lol Would be a cute project to make and give as gifts or sell. Please post another discussion when you are finished making the doll and let us see how it turned out. Am always interested in seeing what others like to do in their free time with different projects.

I agree the dolls are cute. I will post the doll picture when I am able to make one.

I love doll making. Have you ever gone to the dollnet.com it has some really great dolls. I have taken several of their class. Doll making for everyone is really neat esp. for beginners. I also like their gallery, plus they have cool contest. I have been to the website before and started the Kumo doll.

I like the angel one that's standing up. For some reason if the object becomes 3 dimensional it comes out looking weird. But I can make a basic block quilt, but not any stuffed object beyond a pillow...
