I try very hard to keep my electric bill down. I think the electric company should have a incentive plan. Like lets say your electric bill averages $250 a mth. You do what you can to bring it down. Now it is down to $200 you should get $5 off. The more you save the more credit you get of your bill. Same with the water bill. Do you have any ideas or opinion?

I try to avoid bringing home more plastic grocery bags from the store. I started buying up the new bags they have for 99 cents at the register, now if I could just remember to take them in with me each time I shop. I try not to throw plastic bottles in the trash. These are little things I try to do.

Oh yes, I forgot about that. I do that too. I have a couple nice bags but I forget them about half the time. I either leave them in my apartment or I leave them in the car and don't realize until I'm already checking out. :P

I try to save energy as much as possible, though part of that is the fact that I can't afford the bill anyway, not so much for the earth. We use energy efficient bulbs and all that. We have an apartment so there's not too much we can change in that area. We recycle our cans and bottles and I try to buy natural cleaners and, if I can't get them, I at least try to buy healthier cleaners.
