OK well at that time we saw that little boy, a ghost was not in our mind, it happened last monday, the office i am in is in the 3rdflr and well when it is time to go home around 6 in the evening the elevator is already out so we have to resort to taking the stairs..and well at the second floor stairs, me and an officemate saw a little boy around 5 yrs old, cute and he was wearing a school uniform crawling and playing in the stairs!!! and it did not occur to us he was a ghost or is a ghost because we were hurrying!! and the second floor is not an office space because it is a storage area of the bank at the first floor. we do not know about it till this morning when my officemate asked the guard if he saw a little boy last monday going up the stairs or went down the stairs.the guard was like dumbfounded because he does not know what my friend was talking aboutt because there was no little boy in the premises..nor any employee that would bring children in the building!!! we were like..scary!!! because we definitely saw the boy!!!! and he was even smiling at us that time. it was even more confirmed because an officemate also saw that boy some other day, standing at the second floor!! and smiling, in a uniform. totally scary!!!!! any ghoststories?

sorry about been such a long time in reading this, but just had to respond. my grandfather believed in ghost and strange uncanny events. but my own experience happened in broad sunlight. i used to work in a very old building, at least 400 years old. i used to get in to work well before everybody else , while it was stil dark in the morning and i would quite happily walk through the building in the dark. there were always rumours abounding that the place was haunted and our security guards would not walk in there on their own. anyway, one dinnertime i was sitting in my office on my own, everyone had gone to lunch and i was there working. then, i could hear a noise of pages turning. i couldnt move from my seat, You have heard the expression, your hair stood on end? well that is how i felt. i sat in my seat, looking down the length of the office, it was a beaming sunlit day, but the office was empty and silent apart from the rustle of turning pages. by the way i didnt mention, the building was at one time a monastery.

Well if it were indeed a ghost then he must be there not to scare anyone as he is a smiling ghost. That is not a usual description of a ghost that is depicted by many who has witnessed it. Most described it as serious looking and you are the first one to described it as smiling ghost. Anyway it is true that seeing a boy in that place at that time is indeed weird enough.

perhaps the good thing about it was that you were not the only one to see the little boy. it's creepy but it would have been even more so if you're the only one who experienced that. i don't have a lot of ghost stories coz my aunt taught me how to just let "them" be. in old buildings (like in my first job), ghost stories are pretty common and we have experienced it a few times. i was told of missing files which will turn up in the most unlikely places and boss' computer turning on by itself when the boss is not around. but whenever they would request the ghosts to behave, they apparently do. in an old apartment building i was staying in with the same aunt before, we kinda swap ghost stories after our dinner and she had told us lots. afterwards, the plate with a serving spoon for our rice moved in the middle of the table from one end all the way to the other end. i couldn't say a thing. i just watched. and i looked at my aunt to see if she saw it too. she did and we just both kept quiet because we didn't want the other people in the table to freak out. nothing else moved and i was quite surprised that only the two of us saw the movement. it was scary but i really tried not to freak out. especially when my aunt told me that i only saw the plate moving, not the ghost moving it.
