Where do you go on Vacation?

Going to St. Louis this week-end...first time on a jet!! oh my!! In september my husband and I went to Halifax Nova Scotia,Canada. Where do you all go on vacation and why?

We have been going on cruises to the different islands for the past few years. When you cruise you get to see alot of the islands and when on the ship your meals are already paid for and all the activities are included so you really get your moneys worth. It is a great way to travel...

My husband is scared of water...we just flew to ST. Lous Missouri and it was my first flight!!! But I surely loved it!!! Will never drive over a 4 hr trip ever..it was so much nicer flying...can't wait to do it again...

I was the same way as your husband on my first cruise. I was really scared about being out to sea for a couple days with no land in sight but I found that there is so much going on that I didn't realize there was no land. The boat is like a city on water. Now I don't mind being at sea at all, but I understand your husbands fear cuz I have a couple friends that really want to go but will not fly or go on a boat...I used to be scared of flying but now I like that also. It sure saves alot of time. Have fun traveling

I live in St. Louis and there is quite a bit to do. Hope your flight comes into St. Louis near the Arch so you can get a chance to see it from the air. I will be traveling next month to visit our youngest daughter who lives in New Mexico. It will be my first trip to that state and I am so anxious to see our grandkids.

Have fun at 6 Flags. That place is great. It's extremely hot here right now. Heat index today was right about 106 degrees. The actual temp. is 93 but the humidity is always high here. Farmington is about 3-4 hours from us as we actually live right in St. Louis. Enjoy your trip.

We are traveling to see my husbands oldest daughter and his 2 grandchildren...One just graduated this year and the other grads in 2 yrs...We are going to six flags while we are there... lovely country she is actually in Farmington...I love it there ... looking to maybe move there.

I hope that you have a lovely time in St Louis. I have always wanted to visit Halifax and then go to see a few other places on the Nova Scotia coastline. I would love to visit Prince Edward Island.
My trip in 2009 was to South Africa. I took my toddler son there so explore Cape Town and the Garden Route. In 2008 we went to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We went to Portugal in 2007. There we saw the coast around Faro and Lisbon. In 2006 I went to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala as well as Bulgaria and Romania. I love to see historical places, native wildlife and scenic views. I wish to travel to many different countries.

Thank you I'm sure I will...hey...do you need a traveling partner? lol just kidding....sounds like you get around the world...must be lovely...I certainly do not have the funds to travel like that...but still many interesting things to see and do within the USA and Canada....Enjoy life while you can get around...Thanks

I am planning to go to Hawaii , the big island, for my next vacation. I haven't been there yet. I have been yearning to go there for a long time now, knowing it is so beautiful , so scenic. Many of my friends have been there to enjoy their vacations !

A friend of mine just got back tues. from Hawaii...She went down with the sharks and fed them...Super scary she said...backed out of goiing para sailing...after the sharks she said NO WAY! lol But she loved the Island!! She was also suppose to go Island hopping but got sick because of the small plane...brought back goodies!!! She went to a Luau too!!!

I travel to different places for different reasons. In summer I like to go to countries that have access to the sea. I can't imagine a summer without being on the beach, drinking coctails and generally resting. During the year I like to visit historical places and monuments. So far I've traveled most of the central and western Europe, visited the States and spent 6 months in Egypt.

Sounds wonderful...I love the ocean...lived in Miami Florida for 6 yrs...and have traveled in all 50 states...Canada also...was hoping to visit Mexico but with the govt the way it is there ... I don't know have safe travelings and a good life.
