Wind Beneath Our Wings

Today, i saw the photo of the eagle majestically flying in the sky that i posted yesterday---such a magnificient bird! One thing that i remember that is remarkable about this birds is that when it flies, it does not waste alot of energy flapping its wings but that it soars with the wind. Flying down from its nest or perch high above the mountains maybe 7,000 - 9000 ft. above sea level, it would swoop down and dive and soar with the winds. Instead of fighting the winds, it becomes the very thing that propels it to soar far and wide and high. The wind beneath its wings become a powerful force for the eagle. In our lives, there are people that we can call "wind beneath our wings". Maybe our spouse, our parents, children, friend, confidante. Our relationship with them becomes a powerful force that propels us to soar high and far and wide...my wife is a "wind beneath my wings."
