Sometimes your partner is dominating and supresses your feelings. Often you are made to hear sarcastic remarks, it is hard to bear and tolerate the remarks, thus crop up diferences!

I personally cannot stand or tolerate them. I put up with them enough during my marriage and will not do it anymore. when i see it happening to friends it makes me cringe. no one should have to tolerate those snide remarks. they are demeaning and ugly. no need to be sarcastic.

I am a sensitive person so i get hurt by sarcastic remarks so i prefer to avoid people who do sarcastic remarks to hurt others. I do not intentionally do sarcastic remarks to others and would not tolerate others either.

In a healthy relationship, there should not be this kind of behavior. One person should not dominate another but the relationship should be a mutual one where each partner has his or her say. Someone who cares about you would not behave this way. May be you should think about your situation and make changes before something more permanent occurs, like marriage. Then it is even harder to get out of an abusive relationship. Take care.
