With the quantum physics, the scientists started bringing this law of attraction. And according to this law, our thoughts always effects our realities. Our reality attracts what we feel. For example if you are feeling good then you are attracting more of the good moments to come because you are thinking of the good at that time. And if you are feeling bad, then you are attracting the bad moments in your life. Its because we are ourselves only the thoughts. Many people don't believe in the law of attraction. And that's why I know some of the mylot friends may also respond the same. According to the law of Karma, this world is in existence with the force of karma or actions. And this karma also includes the thoughts and actions. That's why the Buddhist and Hinduism, religion are based mindfulness, making the thoughts clear. Thoughts are really the powerful tools. The good we do brings good things in return and the bad we do brings bad things in return. And when I compare these two things, it seems that the law of attraction somewhat comply with the law of Karma. It seems that both of it try to explain the similar thing. These two don't tell the exactly same thing, but still seems to try to explain the same thing in the different way. What do you think on this matter?

I believe in law of karma or action. As you saw so you reap.In our practical life we experienced this.Yes there is similarity between law of attraction and law of karma. The birth is the result of law of attraction. Our birth is also the result of karma. But I think the law of attraction is more practical.Karma is alright. But when we relate it to rebirth it creates confusion.

Personally I see them as one and the same thing. The "Law of Attraction" is just a modernised tag for karma. I've always believed in Karma and I;m also very familiar with "The Secret" and I think it's commendable that a new badge has been put on something that we should all be constantly aware of and reviving these concepts in this format is certainly welcomed by me. The concept of Karma is of course far more deeply rooted with definitive and further reaching explanations and consequences, so I guess for want of a better term, I see the Law of Attraction as being "Karma-Lite"!

Most definitely! It all comes down to cause and effect. Scientifically, mathematically, spiritually..... Every action has a reaction.

"Karma-Lite", interesting... Another interesting thing is that, the ancient people were really highly knowledgeable than us in case of knowing the secrets of the earth. Today what they had said is being seen scientifically nowadays. The quantum physics has given the great light to the existence of spirituality. The important thing is we should learn to be mindful about whatever is going on around us. This is the key to find the truth. Thanks for you response Jame72! Happy mylotting...

Karma , fate laws of nature and many more words can used to explain what we are not able to comprehend by reason. Our actions definitely determine our present and future. The thoughts are the initial step before action and so good thoughts lead to good actions. There are certain results, which are beyond the actions which we put in, and then we tend to say it as karma or fate. In all likely hood we had not factored in all the variables or we are not competent to factor in all the variables. There are good moments and bad moments, we need to savor them both.

Hello harshadod!!! Yes, you are right. First thing that happens is always thoughts. Then the thoughts cause the action which will generate karma. This is really a complex theory to understand if we try to go on deep. At least, we are sure that the Good thoughts leads good actions, which will bring good in return... Thanks for your response...Happy mylotting...

Karmic law includes "law of attraction" ,law of attraction does not contain law of karma .It is othre way round! Law of attraction ,so to say, points to miniscule part of the Law of Karma .To me to confine 'karma' only to action or thought or deed or to the end result would not lead one to correctly understand karmic law which governs whole of the Universe! Seers,Sages,Prophets ,Avtaars,Budhaas,Krishnaas,Ramaas ,Messengers,Thinkers,Philosophers of all ages and climes have propounded this karmic law at all times. 'Do unto others what you will do to you' 'Sow ,so shall you reap' 'Love thy neighbours' all are cadinal universal truths , truths of life principle pointing towards law of karma .Law of attraction is concerned only with the quality of thoughts and their manisfestation in form of the results only but Law of Karma goes beyond all thoughts ,action deeds, and end results It is answer to the question why what happens happens? The root cause is law of karma law of attraction comes in when the thought is there and it is related to human beings only because only human beings have been given the power of thought . But,law of Karma emberaces all animate or inanimate UNIVERSE where as law of attraction is concerned with the MAN! The song celestial "Geeta" says one has got power to act only not to its fruits ,It is the karmic law which is an all emberacing law. It is concerned with seeds of thought, the thought, the thought process, process (law of attraction),implimentation of thoughts that is action, its fruits of action and even beyond the begining and encircling horizons .Law of attraction is a half baked truth so it is not a law in essence .Marketers have grabbed this term law of attration to make themselves earning money or the secrets are revealed in the movie "the sectret" related to becoming a mutimillionaire ! It is too much hype word and is not even a fraction near the law of karma or simply Karma thnks for bringing up such a good topic one is referred to commentaries oon geeta by osho, and writings in this connection on bible ,an other holy scripture of heenyana and mahayana budhism and other religions of the world The law of karma is cuase and effect law ,law of attration is only confined to thoughts and is only concerned with thoughts vs results part which is included in the law of karma thanks gain for initiating a discussuins on such an important topic thanks again

Hello vpsmalhotra!!! That was wonderful response for my question. Of course the Law of karma is more advanced and deeper than the law of attraction. It seems as if, the scientists are getting into research nearer to the law of Karma. And like you said, till now it is just half baked. The law of attraction can be true in many sense, but still is lagging more depth, isn't it. This thought came to me because the law of attraction and the law of Karma is based on initially thoughts. The thoughts is the initial of action or cause. The main difference I saw is that the Law of Attraction says that the past if past. It doesn't account the sins of the past. It only keeps on focusing on feeling good. But the Karma theory deals with both good and bad. Yes, like you said, the law of attraction is being taken commercially. Many products are being sold regarding this law as the secret to be rich, rich and rich. It has started to lure to the people. But it makes us forget that demanding more is another sort of bad karma. It will ultimately lead us into rebirths upon rebirths diverging us from the path of nirvana or enlightenment. The life of human being is the great chance to get us in right track. That's why human life is most important of all life. So, it is very necessary that we make our thoughts clearer and for the sake of betterment of all. I hope this half baked cake will bring further news in the future. Thanks for your nice response...Happy mylotting...

Perhaps there are important differences. Karma will teach you to love unconditionally in time. If you choose to do bad things, you hurt until you do change. You hurt until it is easier to change. This law does not require anyone to even know the law. The law of attraction is different. If you do not know the law, you can be in a situation where you will attract bad things forever because you would get in a rut and never see daylight or know where to look. What would you learn? Nothing. It's all more than pleasure and pain. It's learning all the secrets of the universe and acquiring the wisdom of the ages. Without the cause and effect of this physical world, we could never learn. That is why it is all set up this way.

Hello bird123!!! Well the basic concept in both the theories are the thoughts. That's why I am saying there are similarities. When we go on broad view, we will certainly find difference in what the scientists say and what the karmic theory says. The law of attraction has not focused like bad deeds will bring bad results. It has only focused on thoughts, then actions to reach the reality respective to the thought. This is the major difference. You are right that this theory does not need that we know it, it just happens naturally. What if you know the universe is going on like this? What if you realize that this world is really going on with this theory? Now whoever understand and realize this theory, they can not be bad. They will always try to think of the karma before doing any bad deeds. And many good things happen when you learn to love everything, every creature. You can change the world with your thoughts. Thanks for your response, happy mylotting...
