How many friends do you still keep in touch after graduation?

After high school and college, I lost contact with some good friends. It seems that they disappeared, and I couldn't get in touch with them. This might due to the fact I rarely call them. Some of them I heard from a third person, they move to other states for a job. After college, I still keep in touch with several good friends still; we called each other, or hang out during the weekend. We all leading a busy life, and going toward different directions. Sometimes, it just hard for us to be together. I wish that we won't be that busy.

Its very difficult to meet all friends and enjoy as before.college is the only place where we can meet friends from different place, all unknown friend in the beginning becomes close friends for us.Its very easy to love someone, tough to make friends and tougher to remain friends forever. Its very impossible to keep contact with friends even our best friends. Some stop to contact us after marriage, some after getting work at different place.Close friends at last become call friend.only few we can keep in touch, its so sad but no way.

I totally agree with you . Same happened with me. But life is a struggle, you don't know what would happen next. I do have some friends in contact but it is very few. We call each other regularly and get to know each others life's what is going on. Everyone is busy with the life that we hardly get enough time to spend. But virtually we are in contact I.e. through net.

I don't keep in touch with anybody from graduation! At first I did for a year or so. After that I just didn't. All my highschool friends where married by then and pregnant! Now a days I really don't care! Highschool wasn't fun and I got picked on alot! I felt like a misfit! Anyway I found out it wasn't important to me! Years later i have been in contact with one form classmate. The only reason this happen was, because he's mom dates my dad! He is a Facebook friend and I don't care to have any other former classmates on Facebook as friends! I don't realy care to hear from the rest of them either! Enough said.

I still have constant communication with my college friends. They are still responding to my emails and text messages, and some of them are also my co-workers. On the other hand, I lost contact with my old high school friends. Although a few of them still text me, I haven't attended to our annual gatherings for almost 6 years now.

Hello! I'm glad that you actually keep in touch with friends from your high school and college. I too keep in touch with a good friend of mine from grammar school and to be exact it would be the 5th Grade! which would make her my friend for over 25 years and it seemed like yesterday I became friends with her. She is like a sister to me and I know that I can count on her if i need help or someone to talk to. As you say, people are so busy these days and it's difficult to keep in touch with everyone in high school or college but the ones you do keep in touch with should be considered a blessing.

I guess I am fortunate because I am still in constant communication with all my friends from grade school until college. I even made some "new" friends after graduation (college). Some people who I was just casual with in campus (hi and hello, smile, nod) are now my friends who I go out with sometimes. They're also busy with work and other stuff but we get to see each other once in a while, have lunch or dinner or late night drinks, hang out and exchange comments in Facebook. Maybe you could set a schedule for you and your friends to get together? Like once a week or if you're too busy, at least once a month.

I keep in touch with several friends, I don't have too much time after work, but I am lazy when I have time, even send them a message, I am looking for an excuse for myself. Mostly we communicated via internet, because it's free and also we get used to it. Most of us communicated via QQ, it's a very popular IM software in China. Most Chinese have a QQ account, ages from 12 years to 35 or more. Happy mylotting!
