The girl do not want to die without seeing the Disney-Pixar movie Up. Here is the story: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/pixar-up-movie-2468059-home-show

That is very sad all she wanted was to see a movie bless her soul.

Yes. She's just very young. Parents should have influenced her on more meaningful things knowing about her situation.

I think if I was in the position of those parents depending on the age of the child,I would have kept her wrapped up in cotton wool and away from the more meaningful things in life she would know how important it is to love and be loved ,what could be more meaningful than that.

That is so sad and happy at the same time, a girl is dying and she wants to see something that will give her a little pleasure, not do a great deed, but what a normal girl would want and shows to us that she is a normal girl, not a saint, not a Mother Teresa, but an ordinary pretty girl who is dying. So many of us wish for something unattainable, something that will make people think we are something that we are not. But Colby did not. Colby wanted a simple wish and she got it.

I have seen quite a few discussions about this in Mylot. I had not personally heard the story about it though. I think that is so nice that she did get to see it. Thumbs up.
