would you like to travel alone or have a travel-mate?

i am a graduate student and my hobby is travelling. sometimes i travel alone and sometimes i travel with some of my friends. when travelling alone i usually feel tired but can gain a sense of achivement,whereas travelling with friends can give me some more fun. now i cannot make it clear that which type i really like and which type is suitable for me. how about you? which type do you prefer?give me your reasons.

I prefer travelling alone. There is a sense of fulfillment if I do that. That, I have done something all by myself and it builds my self-esteem. When travelling with friends, I most of the time feel exhausted because you still have to check if everybody is around or if someone is missing. I like the adventure of getting lost myself and find the way through it.

your idea is crazy but understandable,i partly agree with you. it seems that you always play a role of the captain of a tream, ofcoure you will not get satisfied and fun if you have to take care of others,that becomes a task but not a travelling. you said you like the adventure of getting lost yourself and find the way through it, i think this thought is crazy and dangerous, if you can not find your way in a thich forest, what would you do without anyone you can turn to?
I am not that crazy anyway.

I prefer having someone with me to travel. True, there is a feeling of personal achievement when we travel alone but it's more fun to travel with some people we personally know. When I went to Johannesburg a couple of years ago I didn't know anyone in the group I was traveling with. I had to try and make friends so that i could ask someone to take pictures of me. LOL A cousin of mine went to New York alone cause her dream was to see the big apple and she ended up asking Wendy's employees to take pictures of hers. I can't imagine myself traveling alone again cause I love sharing my travel experiences. Good post. Thanks.

I would like to have someone with me.If I travel alone I will feel bored.As you know travelling means taking a risk in some situations.When I get trouble during the tour,who can I turn to at the first moment?Of course my travel-mate!A police can be not that fast to help me.
And travelling with a mate can be more funny and interested.
