Long hair or short hair?

My oldest daughter used to have really long hair. It was right at her waist line. I trimmed it as summer was nearing and didnt want her to be too hot. Also the fact that it was getting semi hard to brush without her complaining that it hurt. Once it grows back out again I will let her choose short or long hair for herself. I personally think little girls look beautiful with really long hair. I have seen some little girls that look super cute with short hair but most of the time it's the long hair that catches my eye. So, which do you prefer on your daughter? Short or long hair?

My youngest daughter had hair almost down to her waist when I cut it up to her shoulders right before she started school at 4. It was thick and curly...and beautiful...but I put a lot of effort into keeping up with it and I knew it would be too much with her in school and me going back to school. Her two older sisters had long hair, too, but theirs wasn't so thick and they were older. Right now all three of my daughters have very long hair and I like it a lot. I could never grow mine very long because I have fine, baby hair and it stops growing on it's own once it gets just past my shoulders.

Long hair looks better on girls but not too long. But short hair is way easier to maintain.
