FTC will crack down on Bloggers, Will monitor blogs for paid reviews and ads

If you're a blogger who also does sponsored posts or runs graphical link ads, you should know that the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is now going to start monitoring all blogs to make sure that they are in compliance with the law. Basically, they object to reviews written for pay that aren't disclosed as such. http://tech.yahoo.com/news/ap/20090621/ap_on_hi_te/us_tec_bloggers_freebie_disclosures Some pay-to-post sites do require in-post disclosure but not all do. If you write paid posts, are you worried about continuing to blog these kinds of posts now that the government is watching?
