Sometimes we are not aware that we being controlled by the people around us. But because we love them we still let them to control us. To the point we really lose our identity...

I think that's very true and that, often, the people around us don't even realise that they are influencing our behaviour to that extent. They just assume that we want the same as they do and its easy to just get into the habit of going along with their wishes. There comes a point though when we realise that we have become a facilitator for the dreams of others and lost sight of our own - its a harsh thing to face and it can be difficult to change because we have become so used to putting our own plans aside that we feel selfish and guilty when we start living for ourselves.

Being used by our loved ones is the saddest thing. But what else can we do? Whether we like it or not we have to go on with the flow or else they will treat you like a wind.

I think, once we realise what is happening we need to try to change it. We only get one shot at life and, though it may come as a shock to those around us, they need to be made aware of our feelings. If they care, they will take note and adjust... if they don't - well, we then have to make our choice
