The spread of this virus is quite fast, mostly affected are school students. and many schools have closed and postponed schooling. Now that brings the total affected victims to 500 and one death. Now it is declared low level outbreak in the cities of the philippines. Since there is no clusters of cases yet. And the first death of this was an employee of Congress. It is getting scary. THey say only those who have underlying diseases will be in danger and have low chance of survival. So those who are healthy and no other underlying disease will not worry if they get hit or affected by this. But still it is really unbelievable how crazy the world is now.

I think the Department of Health, must be react on this case in our country. DOH, always reiterated that is a mild case. I am worry about the statement of the Department of Health, Headed by Doque.

i think that DOH is trying to calm people down. but they can't deny it is worsening. and we are being hit bad already. only thing we can be thankful is that we don't have that big high mortality rate only one out of all reported victim and most have recovered already. but i just hope only those who have strong body will get this and not those who have weak immune system and underlying health diseases existing already.

i just notice that they don't give the full details of the different symptoms of the disease. i get to learn the symptoms as i keep to watch news every day. and every day they add a little information on the symptoms. on the first time they would say the symptom is sore throat. and the following days they will add stomach ache. i just wonder why they don't give all the symptoms all at the same time so we can be aware if we are already experiencing the symptoms of the disease.

I don't think they calm the people is always scary about? Filipinos is strong in terms struggles and challenges. The DOH, must explained clearly that this disease is not that grave like that in Mexico and the US. Their explanation is wearying people, because they cannot understand what it is all about.

I live in the Orkney islands just north of Scotland and when we get a bug it spreads like wildfire. Last week it was announced in the paper one man was tested for 'suspected' swine flu. Well we all know where that leads don't we....unconfirmed case leads to confirmed case which leads to several confirmed cases etc.. luckily it isn't too severe I've heard, just highly contagious, I feel sorry for my girlfriend more than anyone having to deal with my moaning when I get it 'coz I always get it worse than anyone (haha)....no but seriously if it mutates like some of these people reckon it'll do then we're done for.. any reassurances?

then GOd help us if that happens. i just hope GOd will not permit or that we are prepared for it like we can have some sort of place in our home to quarantine a member of the family without that family member feeling being outcast or avoided. but still able to remain close to the family even quarantined. hope that will be done to all families to contain diseases. i wonder if government should stop international flights to operate and just let people stay in the country they are currently to stop the spread of diseases worldwide. i don't think it will not be bad if international flights will be stopped for a while for the whole world so to better control it when it have mutation.

Well I think the best that we could do right now is to calm down and maintain hygiene in our daily task. Having a good immune system is also a big help to prevent them from invading us totally. Well let us just pray that we would not be hit by it and the incidence would lessen in the coming months.

hopefully it will end sooner that they anticipate it. cause they said it will take 3 months the least before it will finally end but still they worry about the second wave or the virus mutation. which may be more stronger than the first one
