It is my opinion those who call Christians hypocritical are hypocritical too.

I recently came across a discussion posted by a pagan that called a Christian site hypocritical for banning her when she told them he/she was a pagan. Sorta like...yea, them dumb Christians! The tone of the discussion was pretty judgmental. My opinion is that people are where they are spiritually, and we should encourage them to grow in their faith, whatever it is. Sorta like 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' or if you don't believe in sin, 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". Even pagans can be hypocritical. Some people who 'claim' to be Christian have no idea what the teachings of Jesus are...some are not far along in their walk to become as Jesus is. But I've met pagans who thought it was all about the devil and being evil andI've met pagans who did not practice the teachings concerning karma or do as you will, but harm none. So...who has the right to call anyone a hypocrit for where they are with what they believe or how they live their beliefs? 'Hypocrits' can be found in every belief system. What do you think?

Sure there are hypocrites in all walks of life. Calling somebody one because of being a Christian or being a pagan or whatever is wrong. But calling somebody a hypocrite because they claim to believe one thing and then do or say somtehing that contradicts that is understandable.

You put it nicely. lol My point was...as I understand the teachings of Christianity...they are not to associate closely with those who are not like minded on spiritual matters... But pagans are open to all beliefs as long as they do no harm. I just didn't like seeing a whole discussion on the faults of a group of Christians, by people who have faults of their own. Sort of 'people in glass houses' kinda thing. I'll get over it. Like has been discussed elsewhere...you can't always get everybody to agree.

debrakcarey we should all remember judge not lest ye be judged none of us Christians, and I am one, should judge others. We do not know anyone else's story so why judge. christians or any other religion should not be judging each other or any other people for that matter. I think we should all remember Christ's teachings and be more like him myself.
