I was wondering if anyone has used Aloe Vera for burns? When I was five years old, I though it was a good idea to put my right hand on a stove burner. To this day I still remember the pain. My mother immediately put my hand in some ice water. Then she grabbed her Aloe Vera plant, cut off some branches and applied it to my burns. Then my hand was wrapped in a gauze. I developed huge blisters on my hand and was in a lot of pain. She applied to Aloe Vera everyday. It finally started to heal and I was able to go back to school after a week. I have absoltely no scars from this. I have also used it on sunburns and it works wonders!

i use Aloe Vera on sunburns all the time. We buy Aloe Vera creams and oils in bottles for that exact thing. its so soothing for burns and yes definately works wonders, but i learnt the hard way that if you use it straight from the plant be careful not to touch your white clothes with it before washing your hands :)
