How will you remember Michael Jackson?

CNN is reporting he had a heart attack. Some news stations and websites are already reporting he's dead. So sad... How will you remember him? As the 80's icon who sang "Beat It" and "Billy Jean"? Or as "Jacko" the ghostly figure we've seen in the news recently, in court for alleged child molestation charges? I was a young child in the 80's and don't remember much of his younger years. I know his songs, and know what he used to look like, but sadly I think I'll remember the 2000 version of Michael best.

i never got on him from the plastic surgery. i believe that it's your body and money, and you can do whatever you want. if you don't like something about yourself and can change it do it. i have a prob with him getting away with child rape. if you read the website, called NAMBLA (National Association of Man Boy Love), the boy in martin bashir's video, sitting on the couch with jacko, says a mantra that people from that association believes. every parent should go visit that site, as sick as it is. montel williams suggested it, when his program was on. they have ways of convincing kids that being inappropriate with children isn't inappropriate. they fill the kids head up with crap like, the law is wrong and that if a kid thinks that they want to have a physical kind of relationship with a grown, they should be able to as a matter of freedom. the freaks want to use the constitution to say that as long is it is ok, with the child (no matter how how), and the adult involved, then the law should not get involved. the kid in bashir's video with jacko, says he and michael believes that, " you are an adult whenever you feel like one, and you are a child if you feel like one. what kind of isht is that? lookit, another one bites the dust. all child molesters should suffocate in their sleep.

I guess I'll just remember him as being strange. He spend most of his life trying to change the way he looked and being weird. Plus there was the whole sleeping with little boys thing too. His music was good back then, not so much in the past few years. he was very talented though, it is a shame.

lol@ravinskye. i will remember him for being a talented freak and pedophile, who got away with messing with people's kids. if a heart attack didn't kill him, someone's crazy parents probably would have eventually.

I'll remember him as a great artist. I grew up listening to his songs. At the time Madonna and Whitney Houston were topping the female charts and he dominated the male charts. I never actually know if he was a molester or not, but the songs I heard back then, I can't imagine a criminal sang them. Billie Jean, The Girl is Mine, Someone in The dark (from the movie E.T.), Man in the mirror, Heal the world I remember these songs. Maybe not all of them topped the charts. But even if he is a criminal as they said he is, no one can sing them as good as he did.

Its so sad that Michael passed away early 50's is really young to die, but we have nothing to do about it. Anyway, i must remember Michael jackson for being one of the talented artist. He was really an inspiration especially to those of his fans. I grow up seeing him singing and dancing and his really good in both talent. I will always remember his songs, Beat It, Billy Jean, Thriller, Bad, Human Nature, and the best song for me my favorite among his song was Heal the world. This song was really a touching song. Definitely we will be missing mIchael jackson whatever the controversy he was having during his time. Goodbye Michael and thanks for the memories =)

In many ways. As a talent, an incredible talent. I was a young teen when thriller hit the scene. Sadly oh so sadly as at the very least a very troubled man who had become the butt of sick jokes.

Other than watching tv that's all we will be doing. Though I think somewhere I have his single Thriller on record still in my basement. Too bad I still didn't have his "barbie" doll from when I was little, it's worth money now! *LOL*

For me I will always remember him from his Billie Jean and Thriller days as this was the music I grew up listening to. I fell out of love with much of his later stuff and sort fo stopped following him so I will remember him before his life turned into the crazy mess that it sadly became.

Hello katsmeow1213, I remember I grew up with some of his song that besides the ones you mentioned includes "Thriller", "Smooth Criminal", "The girl is mine" and many more. However the songs I think I would remember him best are "man in the mirror", "earth song". and "heal the world". Lets not forget about the video he make, those are what legends are made of. I think no one have yet to come close to his video.

No one could ever replace Michael Jackson, He's an epitome of World-Class talent. He touched a lot of lives through his music. Even though he has some glitchhes from the past, that only means he's just human who made mistake just like everyone of us.. The songs that I would really like was the Earth Song and Ben among others. RIP MJ!

I guess I will always remember Michael Jackson as that very talented artist who sang the pop hit "Thriller" and "Black or white". I was still very young when the "Thriller" album came out but my brother kept playing it on the radio so I got to know Machael Jackson through that album.

I'll remember him most because of his Pepsi commercials. He was one of my favorites in the 80's along with Lionel Richie. I still remember buying so many song magazine where most of his songs are featured or he was on the cover.
