I was curious to know how many responses I make in hour. Today I found that I responded to 13 discussions in an hour. I have a good typing speed and woked by opening various windows. How many resposes can you make in one hour (approximately)? What are the steps to increase the speed of no. of. responses? How many sentences will you write usually for a response?

I also respond to discussions only when I find the topic interesting and I have something valuable to say about it. You can save the time searching for discussins by managing the interest. Include the topics which you think interesting to your list of interest. This will help you to categorize discussions and find discussions of your interests.

Hey, that's pretty good, 13 responses in an hour!! For me, it depends on various factors like I have to search for a discussion that interests me and I have something to write about, then it happens I get stuck up in between thinking of some unusual words and so on. I haven't counted the number but yeah I believe its around 12-13 per hour, advantage of a good typing speed!! And I write around 5-6 lines in every response.

I can type up to 74 wpm, if not 75 but I don't do the technique of opening a lot of windows. I do open a few. I just kind of chill out whilst mylotting, even though we really do need the money. I think that I can make atleast 20 in an hour if I work hard enough. The amount of sentences I write is all dependent on how much I feel I have to say. Sometimes I add a little extra like wishing others a happy day, etc, or happy mylotting. Sometimes I'll ask questions, etc, to keep the conversation going. The earning technique is different for all, as is the currency and conversion. I wouldn't really say that I could make a certain amount because I feel that would be unfair to you who may work differently then I do, or who may not have the same currency conversion as I. I live in the United States so $1.00 is still $1.00 for me, but it could be more or less for you. In any case, I wanted to stop by and say hello to you, wish you a good day, and happy mylotting as well. Have a wonderful weekend. Do you enjoy using mylot?

Oh, 74 words per minute is great, my speed is 50 - 55 wpm. Yes, like you, more than making money in mylot I enjoy the opportunity it gives to talk to various people across the world and share our opinions with them, and get to know about their thoughts. Yes, I know it si $1 for you. I live in Inida. One dollar is 50 rupees in India. It will pay for breakfast and lunch for oneday for me. According to the way I work currently, it will take 3 - 4 day for me to earn one dollar. Anyway, I work here for happiness and money is the bonus. Thanks for your respnse.

I think that I started typing 74 WPM by just typing my thoughts out etc. I would do this in creative writing form or I used to make websites. Your speed of typing is not bad at all, in fact it's pretty good. $1.00 is equivalent to 50 rupees but is that like $50.00 in our country or 0.50? Breakfast and Lunch huh well that's very nice, $1.00 might buy breakfast here but that's about it! I appreciate your comment back to me.

i think i can respond to around 10 discussion in one hour - i know it is too less but i take time to write my thoughts and prefer quality commenting than quantity commenting :) I try to wite a minimum of 4-5 sentences while commenting but it may be more if i need to explain something to the discussion author! :)

Yes, you are right. More than how much we can earn from this website, we should look into the amount of happiness and refreshment this website offers by giving chance to contact different people and share our ideas and views with them. I thank mylot for this opportunity when I can't get from many other places.

Twenty responses in an hour? That is great, it is a big number. So, you can make 100 responses in five hours. Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks to improve the speed of responding. Thanks for your response. Happy mylotting.

It is not something I count. Because I am not one who will just go on writing replies. I write in between work when I get some time. It is not just like a machine. At most will write 10.

i can actually reply to 30 discussions if I want to. but I generally slow down. 30 is the maximum I've done in an hour, but they weren't great quality so didn't pay much

Oh, thirty is a very good number. I appreciate it. Yes, quality of the resposne is also very important. We are getting paid depends on the quality and also depends on how lengthy the response is. So, we should be maxium descriptive. Thanks for the response. Have a great day!

That sounds like a pretty good rate. I know I could probably respond to more discussions if I didn't constantly have a 2 year old running around. Seems most of the time, I type a line or two, stop to get on to him for doing something he should be doing, I type another line, stop to get him something to eat or drink, type another line or two....yeah, you get the picture.

That i can't say friend.the No of responses that i make in an hour is depend on the mood and the no of discussions available within my knowledge and interests. So i cant say the exact number o discussions.if am seeing some good discussions, like this one,am sure i can make above 20 responses within this hour friend.

Twenty is a good number. Yes, finding the right discussions is very important otherwise we will waste time searching for discussions of your choice. The first thing you should do is to manage your intersts. It will help you to reach to interesting discussions.

Well, 13 responses in an hour means a very good typing speed. Apart from typing speed it requires a lot of efforts on your part to respond to so many discussions. I mean I just can't respond to more than 8-10 discussions as I have to find the discussions that interest me and then I have to read what other people have said in those discussions, it takes quite some time.
@daliaj (5674)

Yes, it takes a lot of time to read the description of a discussion, read all the responses to it and then reply to it. When I find a discussion topic is intersting, I read the discussion description given by the discussion author and respond to it. I will read the responses from other people only when the discussion is very very intersting and it consumes a lot of time.

I know i can response to more than 10 discussions in one hour. I can do it with the help of my typing speed, though there are topics that i dont really know and it makes me think a lot of what i will write, time consuming for me. If i am so interested in one topic, i can write at least 3 paragraph. I do enjoy talking and responding to discussions here. if you can respond to 13 discussion for an hour, thats a wow . happy mylotting and smile always!

Thank you. Yes, you are right, if we are not familiar with a topic, we have to think before we write. The best way to avoid loosing time this way is to manage the interest. If we manage the interests properly it will help you to let you know about more discussions of your choice and thereby youc an save soemtime.

It depends on the length. I average at like 3 lines per post, so its about 25-30 for me in a hour, but I usually get distracted and start looking at something.

It also happens to me soemtimes. When I am working on mylot, I also search web for some reasons or read news, that way I won't be able to concetrate completey on mylot. I think writing 2 - 3 lines as response won't make a difference in your earning. That is what I heard. Please check with somebody else. Always go for more than three sentences. Writing four to five sentences will make a move in your earning. If you can write as paragraphs of four or five sentences, it makes as big move in your earnings.

With a a quick browser, fast internet and good typing speed, i think u can write one response of 4-5 sentences in 3 minutes. So may be 20-22 responses. I am doing 13-15 a minute.

When I said thirteen reponses, I also counted the time taken to read the discussion topics and respond to them. Mostly, my time will be spend on finding the right descussion, reading the explanation given by the discussion author. If I find the topic interesting I will also go through the different responses written by other people. I usually work from my office during breaks in office hours. My browser in office is only medium speed. So, I open various windows to manage it. Thanks for the response.

I guess i can only do some 6 to 7 in one hour if they are worth to be responded . There are only a few i can respond on . Most of them are totally new to me . I just read them and move out without responding sometime. Lenghty ones need to be interesting then it takes some time to read them full.

wow, you work pretty fast. i guess its different in my case since I do not focus on mylot totally. I write comments in between my tasks so I don't really get to count how many discussions and responses I make. I guess you must have reached payout a lot of times already. I can type fast but I still have to stop and think about what I will type and I also have to search for discussions that I find interesting. I use only one window, maybe i should try opening another one, so i can alternate my efforts per window

Yes, opening differnt windows at the same time is very helpful. By the time you finish with one reponse and submit, another window will be ready to type in. The speed of my internet is medium. So, this approach is very useful. Try it! Thanks for the response.

For me,i can resposes about 10 or 20 dicussions in one hour.I usually wrote 4 or 5 sentences because i want to earn more money here.To increase the speed of number of responses, maybe you can take the easy discussions and easy to understand. So,you can write many sentence about the discussions and will increase your number of responses in discussions faster.I hope this suggestion will help you increase your number of responses.Good luck and have a nice day.

I do also have a pretty good typing speed but I can't really find much interesting topics so it'll take me about 15-20 responses in an hour. I usually write 2-3 sentences for every topic. Some tips to increase responses is to manage your interest and view the discussions by your interest. =)

Yes, you are right, managing the interets has a big part in guiding you to the discussions of your choice. I always look for discussions of my choice, new discussions, and today's top discussions. Typing speed is another important factor. Thanks for the response.
