How are my discussions disappearing?

India

A lot of the discussions i had started have disappeared, and the number in the bracket to the right of my name reduced from 44 to 31. I did make the mistake of creating a discussion that was against the rules [i had included a link in it], but a lot more discussions have disappeared]. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Ok since you already admitted to one of your mistake.......there are many other ways where your discussion could get deleted.....if you responded in a discussion which was in violation of the mylot FAQ and TOS then it might have got deleted and along with that you response too......I would suggest stay away from discussion which post referral links they are bound to get deleted.....also i suggest read the TOS thoroughly point to point......it might sound as a time waster but trust me it will save a lot of your time.....you wont waste time in discussions which will get deleted........I believe the best way to earn on mylot is to keep yourself aware of whats happening around you and what you are supposed to do and what you are not.... Hope that helps !!!! Happy mylotting.......and welcome to mylot !!!!

I remember responding to a discussion of yours yesterday about stars and I posted a link and suggested you read it. if you do then you will not risk loosing more discussions, more points and all the earnings that disappear with them when they are deleted. You can do very well here on myLot if you are aware of the Guidelines. If not you might be very disappointed. http://www.mylot.com/o/mylot.aspx

probably your other discussions were deleted because they broke rule too even if you didnt think so, but if you think they were ok contact mylot to ask why so that you are not wasting your time writing things for them to be deleted and then lose pay

Anything with a referal link will get deleted. Also discussions talking about how much money you are earning or mylot or asking questions of other people about how much money they are earning mylot will be deleted. Also if someone has marked your discussion with a negative it can call attention to it and get it deleted,if there was possibly someething offensive in the discussion. It would be helpful to read the TOS to learn what is and is not acceptable to discuss or respond. Best of luck to you.

First of all you better read the rules here on mylot so that you will know better what are the topics that are not suppose to be counted or will be deleted by Mylot. Anything that discusses about your own milestone will be deleted. Anything which have your referral link here will also be deleted. People who also responded to your topic will also be deducted on their account. So to be careful, we must follow the rules set by Mylot.

So you are saying the money I made out of those discussions will be deducted?

this is confusing to me too. i thought the rules encouraged posting links because it helps your answers be more clear and informative. i would understand not posting a referral link but i thought that posting links was encouraged? i also don't understand this about the rules--they tell you to make every post as high quality as possible, but then they encourage you to use mylot to tell your friends hi and to conversate with them. how can this kind of a post be high quality? maybe i just don't get it!

Well, actually they are telling you NOT to say hi and converse in discussions. They are telling you that if you want to do such things, you should send a private message, and not post in a discussion. And regarding link. They do encourage posting links, but they prohibit posting referral links.

It happens time to time. Posting links is one of the many reasons..

I think you have against the rules and the administrators deleted your discussion. Remember this condition'never post your links here'Avoiding controversy post I think you'll have fun here..
